Not touching him, he's won his Brownlow and would've won a second if not for an asterisk, and he's playing more of a team first game as opposed to get and gives etc. Dunkley and Ashcroft means we bat deeper than we have at any point.
Any hope in McCluggage starting the smash it again?

Hi Pete, I think your team's good, just lacking some midfield scoring power, which can be fixed by going one up one down usually but you're out of funds now. I reckon you could really cash yourself up this week by offloading McKenna and Chandler down to 2 rookies, you've got great bench coverage with Mitchell, JVR and Ginbey and Rat, not so much in the mids though, you can fix that next week.
You could even get Rat fwd by bringing Madden in for Chandler.
P.S Hopper will miss 2 weeks plus so not sure what you're doing there? Good excuse to bring a value premo in maybe?
Hopper and Chandler > Rookie (Sharp/Berry) and Oliver. Boost Davey or McKenna if you’re comfortable with rookies this week. Perhaps start Ginbey in the mids.
@Peter56 not far away, some cash that can be freed up on your bench that can get some decent rookies…

I would suggest using your final boost this week in order to get your two mid priced out with highest break evens
( Chandler 105 and McKenna 88)…

swap Ginbey on field for Cincotta ..
Mckenna out ( via Mitchell and Davey) to Sharp ( pockets $173k)
Chandler to Madden ( via Esava) frees up $255k and can play Esava on field

Leaves cash value for upgrades of $428k approx
Hopper out to any premium you want ( Walsh good target with likely DPP in round 12)

Leaves approx $250k for another premium upgrade next round …
or for future round 12 planning you can upgrade Esava to Gawn for approx $170k and play him forward with madden as the dpp swing….

just food for thought….

Many thanks for the great ideas 🙂

Edit: Added the missing M in Many.

Which rookies do we think to play on field this week.

I have Cincotta, S.Mitchell, Wilmot, Atkins, McVee, Simpson, Knevitt, JVR, Williams, Berry.

Have to play 3, Thinking Wilmot, JVR and either Atkins or Williams. Anyone got any better ideas

Anyone contemplating moving Sheezel on?
Just wondered.
Yes. In the next week or so possibly. Much depends on his SC score this week. If he goes poor again (in comparison to his previous scoring) his cash generation will stall. He needs to go back to scoring a couple of tons in weeks 10 and 11. He is a rookie though and it gets harder for them as the season goes on so you cannot knock him for what he has produced. Done a magnificent job but IMO you cannot let the cash he has made slip away either.

I love him so I really hope so but it's his disposal letting him down right now. He's getting the ball, picking targets, but getting it to them on one hop or just a touch off target so CD pings him for it. The finesse is missing, and I do kind of wonder if it's form or if it's a minor groin injury or the like that's pulled up his kicking a touch.

Hopefully bounces back. I’m loading up on R15 bye players and he makes a lot of sense to be sacrificed around then. But will just see what happens next couple of rounds.

Arthur Jones seems another rookie that I missed. Drifted along with sub impacted scores and then gone 65-92 the last fortnight to put on >70k to get to 213k and a BE of -34

Anyone game enough to go Hopper to Kennedy/Wines?
Wines has been on my watch list all season. When I look at him vs Brayshaw this week it could be a way to save 120k. Wouldn't be expecting premo scores, just a Hopper/Setterfield level with a small amount of 'could turn it around" upside factored in
