I don't know what Rankine's current injury is, but he's turning out to be an 'injury prone' player. Recently he had a shoulder issue and last year failed to play a game due to a run of hamstring injuries.

surely can be replaced by a King , Xerri , Budarick or Brander or Georgiades or even O'Connor as a FD.

can't be that hard to replace surely , most teams seem to have him on the bench anyway

Young seemingly unlikely as well to go with midfield benches being uncertain. Rankine was meant to be a more certain rookie option (which some had on field as well) so it seems like at the very least two fwd rookies on field is not viable.

I can potentially replace him with Georgiades but I already had all the other names you raised.
