Competitions 2021: Lock and Load Competition IV (Congrats Beijing_Sting)

My L&L team didn't quite beat my main team, but it wasn't far off (within 30).

I get the feeling we are going to get smashed in the teams comp this round, as I know we both had absolute shockers this round (bottom 5 scores) and my score will need to count.

Yes, it's not going to be pretty.

Next week will be the start of the bracket competition. I will post the comp later this week - my Summer holidays start on Wednesday, so I should have time. Only teams placed 14th to 19th will play next week. The higher [placed teams are gifted a bye.

@THCLT THe thing is, I don't know if bye planning means much in this comp. However, picking durable players defo might be the key... Certainly, I can't remember if I put any planning into the byes, but it is entirely possible.

In other news - First games for the Bracket Comp... Most have the bye this week.

The thing is, I don't know if bye planning means much in this comp. However, picking durable players defo might be the key... Certainly, I can't remember if I put any planning into the byes, but it is entirely possible.

I would wholehearted agree with the bolded part, with the nature of L&L (no trades) it should theoretically balance itself out through the course of the MBRs. The intent of my MBR summary was not so much to showcase who planned or didn't planned for the MBRs (mute point), but more to highlight how well your team has been doing over the past 3 rounds to eat into my lead...

I also agree that targeting durable players in this competition is paramount.

Got to say - it is nice to see some players doing well in my side that I no longer own in classic comp.

Also, I would love to see a clean sweep win of the bracket by one of the outsiders.

Actually, I would bet quite a few dollars that I am the only person watching AFL in the small provincial city I am staying in this weekend (still bigger than any Australian city).

I remember when I was on holidays in India and small cities were 8 million + people , they would laugh at me when I told them my home town was 20,000

I can confirm it is cheap Aussie wine... a shiraz that has gone well with the local chuaner

The strange thing about the perceived Aussie trade war ... I haven't seen any worries with oz wine at all. weird, huh? I guess like all things - everything is not always as it seems?
