I support it in principle but there is nothing like leaving a rule change to the last minute. Couldn’t the umpire just tell the captains at the coin toss that each side needs one more!

Reading Murray (Crows) rolled his ankle in the internal game as is questionable for round 1 - apparently was shown on the news and could hardly walk so pretty unlikely I imagine.
