I was watching two AFL and one NRL game, (kind of) at the same time, tonight, on split screen. Each free kick, paid or not, effects the game. None more so than the other. It's the perspective of the game's win-ability which skews our significance of the decision at the time.
If the Adelaide handball towards the boundary/teammate had have sat on it's end just once, it would have paused and let the players get near it and caused little controversy.
I'm a lot over people blaming umpires, especially on this forum. If we didn't have members complaining on every decision. we could have a reasonable discussion on each decisions merits. However, we allow in moment comment, which is not conducive rational discussion.
