Another overcomplication by the AFL... The simplest way would be to just not count them in the team regardless of whether they played or not. Then the sub coming into the 22 counts as an in, the sub getting dropped counts as no change just like the rest of the emergencies. That way there would always be an even number of ins and outs, not this circus where someone goes out and no one comes in.

Last week is 22 + 1 played

-1 for Mansell out = 22 who have been named ( 18 + 4x Interchange )
The EMG are counted as OUT, so whoever is made the medi-sub will be a late IN.

Backline decimated again based on these teams tonight - will have to review and make some quick decisions after Sunday teams are confirmed tomorrow. Hopefully Murphy and Jones are in the 22 which means I can hold off on a premo upgrade down back this week.

Fingers crossed that old mate Kenny doesn't destroy Lachie Jones' cash gen like he did with Fredericks.

If you look at the 22 announced Mansell is out (as listed) and Ross is included (so he is the in)

Just list it that way , then announce the medical sub from the 4 Emergencies an hour before the game.
