I'd say the decision has been taken out of the AFL and Clubs hands by the NT Government.

Expect whilst they say later in the season, wouldn't they push for next week.

Strong chance Melb goes lockdown and the season pushed back one week. Having said that, most elections have been done and labour leaders allowing games to happen.

Will be the same as Ess v Melb last year - if you have players from Hawks and GC, I guess it’s tough luck again.

Couldn't they just move the Hawks/Suns game to the Gold Coast? It would make the most sense to me, even if they don't have a crowd. If the Tigers/Crows can be shifted on short notice (possibly), I don't see why this one couldn't.

id say move it to the mcg same time slot. Then GCS have the bye. then hopefully enough time passes for gcs to be able to leave
