ZACH Tuohy has got his wish, with the Carlton running defender traded to Geelong after nominating the Cats as his preferred destination on the first day of the NAB AFL Trade Period.

In return, the Blues got Cats forward Billie Smedts, a future first-round pick and the No.63 pick the Cats gained after trading Shane Kersten to Fremantle.

Along with the 26-year-old Tuohy, Geelong received a future second-round pick from Carlton.

Nothing in terms of this weeks side as of yet. But I don’t expect him to come in. I think we’ll see him at some stage, more likely through the middle of the year.

In terms of Hawks AFL listed players performances and where they stand in the reserves games, worth having a read of Sam Mitchell’s comments in a review on the Hawks website. No beating around the bush. Gives a great picture of where the players are at.

Lachie Jones has a hamstring injury I’m pretty sure, sustained only a week or so ago.

Yeah but Waterman prob won't score much in essendon fwd line
It’s be a bonus if he made some coin but i’d be thinking more as a bench player. The main appeal would be taking a hopeful $ 422 K Tex down to a $ $ 102 K rookie in round 5 which could fund an early rookie to premium play in rd 5/6

note: I probably won’t but can see some appeal for those favoring a Tex cash grab
