He doesn't have a tank yet, hence the low TOG. When he's on he's good, but he runs out of puff too quickly. I dont think the coach hates him, just needs him to get fitter.

Probably have to go a week early on Jones if you plan on keeping Daniel, can't think of other def rookies that are available, Parks is one but he's not a SC option imo, plays too defensive a role to get enough of the ball to score. If I had Daniel i'd be going to Bowes I reckon for a $50k outlay I think it is.

Frankly I would've been surprised to see him with the Saints coming off an impressive win and no fresh injuries iirc. Was he listed in the emergencies last week?

If not named tonight it might take a couple of defender injuries or a couple of bad losses before we see him back in action at AFL level.

That's the chatter so may not be the wisest VC one could make assuming one has other options. I was hoping he would tear the Saints a new one after back to back losses. Hopefully he can still find a way to at least ton up as he's beginning to smell like a suboptimal trade-in already.
