Im not surprised Clark was dropped, Salem,Rich and Impey/CJ have ran rings around us and they have often been his direct opponent, hes just not any good playing that role.

Clark should be playing out if hbf or bp. Move Atkins fwd.

Mills disappointing as he was the highest Sydney DT score.
Donut ruck.
Was kind of hoping to put the C on new import Gawn, but should probably take Bont's 133.
May just creep over 200.

Anyone got an idea of what par might look like this week. Kinda hard to gauge. I’m 1189 (assuming brockman isn’t sub) with 11 left. Avoided Campbell and watermans scores (got lachie Jones 69) instead.

Me: I traded Daniher. He scored 121. The guy I traded in scored 27. And I fielded him.

Her: oh that sucks. But it had to be done. Daniher is a dog. You can't have sh1t blokes like that in your team.

Played: J Short, D Martin, B Grundy (C), J Dunkley, J Macrae, E Gulden, C Warner, B Campbell, L McDonald, J Kelly, T Taranto, J Daniher, P Cripps and S Docherty.

Yet to play: R Laird, S Berry, H Chapman, J Treacy, J Koschitzke, J Impey, T Stewart and J Ziebell.

H Chapman replaces J Clark to avoid a donut in defence, with Koschitzke filling in for Daniel. New recruit J Treacy replaces S Martin and fills in for M Flynn to avoid a donut in the rucks. Looking like another sub 2000 round due to poor performances from rookies and so called premiums alike. Avoided Ridley and should be able to pick him up below his starting price which will help fund other upgrades due to the poor cash generation from this batch of rookies.

Will restructure in the backline next week with L McDonald (Syd) to be traded to L Jones by moving Dunkley back to the forward line and Laird to the midfield, meaning I will be fielding 2 rookies at D5 and D6. This should increase my remaining salary to approximately $360,000 which hopefully allows B Campbell to C Oliver.

Yep, trades worked a treat, Daniel to Ridley and Campbell to Waterman. Was so close to going with option 2, Daniel to Jiath and Campbell to Heppell. (such a fun game this.)

Yeah, sorry about that advice mate. Can’t really account for conditions or an injury like that. Players throwing elbows - duty of care seems about the same as choosing to bump sometimes...

That score will move you in the right direction. Looking at my league 2000pts looks good.

A 200 game from Max and a 150 from Titch would be a welcome.

Saturday was horrendous......impossible to recover from that .

Ridley misses next game and how long will Houston be out for. DEF Ljne already thin.

Then Jones from PA looks injured. Arhhhhh

Used one trade on Fullerton to Bergman. Glad I held Daniel after all with Ridley situation. Would have compounded things badly, especially when the plan was to bring in Hickey with the Daniel’s cash.

Wondering whether it is worth trading Meek to Treacy to free up cash and avoid donut, or might be better to hold the trade, given the chaos that this season had become.

Have dodged most of the carnage after a shocker last week. Not owning Ridley should see me claw back a fair bit of the ground I lost last week, and the previous 3 weeks when he constantly crushed me.

Macrae, Zerrett and Daniher the big contributors yesterday.
Had to take Campbell's score to get Macrae's VC, didn't appreciate him getting scaled down 9 points after the 7:25 games started, probably still the right move, but did just consider taking Gawn as C and fielding Berry.

Leon Cameron is still a garbage coach.

Had planned on getting Oliver in next week, but Neale might be the better option after turning the corner last night.

I reckon par is about 2100, maybe just 2120 this week. Ridley, Hickey, and donuts everywhere, plus anyone with rookie rucks is in a very dark place, so I can’t see a high bar this week.
