If you ever want to see the value of golden tickets I present Gawn and Martin in this game in comparison to Docherty and Walsh in the Blues game.

Gawn has been exceedingly average in this game, no idea how he only has 3 clangers when he's dropped 3 uncontested marks and hit opponents on multiple occasions with disposals. Love to see the grading on his rucking because it sure looked like most of them were sharked. All I can think is every time he's fumbled the ball trying to pick it up is being graded as a contested knock-on to advantage... I could understand if he was at 1:1, he's not been terrible, but his ratio suggests he's had a massive impact, genuinely shocked by it. Watching on a bit of a delay I was excited to see a 45 type score at the half so genuinely baffled.

Martin, I don't have a clue how he's positive, done absolutely nothing in the game, I don't even have the mythical contested knock-ons because he hasn't been near it and he's been given handballs for all the times he's thrown it out of tackles the few times he has been near it

Salem on the other hand at 1:1 despite being the clear best player out there and in a different league to those two. Oliver and Petracca also at 1:1 somehow despite dominating the game.

Short basically just taking the kick-ins and a few handball receives, hating a mark tonight but I guess you take his score and hope he can get a bit more involved. Doesn't help he got clangers because his teammates (Lynch...) don't provide a contest...

Agree on both.

Gawn slightly less so. But Martin has done absolutely nothing, and is probably a bottom 5 player on ground in terms of impact.

Gawn probably deserves 60 ish not 80.
