Well done @Lost In The Sky - looks like Kosi got the win for you! Pretty comfortable in the end.
Cheers mate, I count myself very lucky in getting that win.

Kosi's monster game really did give me the edge, I was really surprised as when I needed his score a few rounds ago... All he gave me was a 22 so to get 104 was way beyond expectations. Mills having a huge game also helped a lot.

I traded Kosi ahead of Highmore a couple of rounds ago as well. Then traded Jones in to cover a Clark donut. Then traded Jones our given his injury. Then ended up doing my first upgrade down back this round to try to avoid the merry go round continuing.

Good to see Kosi is working for someone!

R6 Results.jpg

Match of the Round

GV Vikings FFC v MADMUNZA
Prediction: GV Vikings to have a narrow win by 23 Points Tick.jpg
Result: It was predicted to be a great battle, and it didn't disappoint. Coach Matt's team threw everything at the Vikings but ultimately came up a little short. Having Ridley sidelined didn't help the cause and Coach Ashley's advantage in the ruck with Grundy against Flynn was a big factor in the result. The Vikings powering to a third league win.

Other Matches

Beasts FC v Ricky Bobby
Prediction: Ricky Bobby to keep the win streak going and win by 52 Tick.jpg
Result: Very little Point Of Difference between these two sides, Coach James' POD's however all fired this week giving his team the edge. A poor 27 from Rowe hurt Coach Ben's team, but even a good score wouldn't have made the difference this week unfortunately. Ricky Bobby with his third straight win, and looking menacing.

Blaze Of Glory v Goodie's Guns
Prediction: Goodie’s Guns to notch his first win of the season by 35 Tick.jpg
Result
: A comfortable win by Coach Tim's mob, to notch up a much needed first win. Pretty much all POD's delivered as expected. Coach Tom however, just had too many under performers, Kelly and Dusty would have especially had him seeing red. Both should be delivering much more for him.

TailsPower v Jibrangers
Prediction: TailsPower to continue on his winning ways and win by 57 Tick.jpg
Result
: The unstoppable force that is TailsPower has found a rich vein of form with Coach Adrian's team once again all firing in unison. Duggan the only underachiever with Koschitzke exceptional with 104. Coach Sho however had way too many guys posting terrible scores. That kind of effort on field just isn't going to get the job done. A very surprising third loss in a row for this SCS PL Powerhouse.

PC v Jaca's Attackers
Prediction: PC to just do enough for the win by 9 points Tick.jpg
Result
: Coach Jack with a solid effort this week to nab his third win. His team bar Dusty, performed as expected. A pair of Premium Defenders in Short & Daniel let Coach Jason down this week. The match-up was close enough to win but unfortunately his troops couldn't get the job done, and resulted in a third consecutive loss for this Champion Coach.

Brownie's Bandits v The Darkness
Prediction: The Darkness to have a narrow win by 23 points Cross.jpg
Result: Coach Iain had lady luck on his side this week, Forced to rely on Koschitzke on field... He delivered in a big way with 104 points. Big games from Mills & Dunkley where also handy and enough to get the Bandit's over the line for their third win of the season. Coach Adrian can hold his head high though, knowing better efforts from Cripps & Daniels likely sees his side winning. Sits at 2-2 now and looking pretty solid overall

Courtesans v Diabolical Rabble
Prediction: Courtesans in a nail biter by 2 points Tick.jpg
Result: What a sensational effort from Coach Keith's troops in the biggest win of the round. Just magnificant to watch. Young Harry Jones the only POD not to fire for him. Coach Andrew's side, who has been terrific so far this season just had no answers, Bad performances from Duggan, Cripps and Rowe certainly hurt, but I don't know if anyone would have stopped Courtesans this week.

Pay The Mark v SuperCoachScores Tick.jpg
Prediction: SuperCoachScores to finally get the first win in a close battle by 31 points
Result: The rough initiation to the PL for Coach Mark's team continues. With a massive 11 POD's between the two teams this week... These are the type of match-ups you hate, Team Pay The Mark where pretty solid overall this week, but Coach Jay's side just fired altogether, resulting in another loss for Coach Mark. Badly needing a win, Team SuperCoachScores however had some really big performances this week. Coach Jay would be really happy with his troops and the way they delivered for him to nab a much needed win.

Philzsay v Rons Badboys
Prediction: Philzsay to continue on his merry way and win by 75 points x
Result: A huge 14 POD's in this one... Coach Phil's team has looked nearly invincible this year so far... That was until this week when he ran into the Badboys. Kelly and Short let Philzsay down this week as well as a couple of poorer rookie scores, He would be no doubt be disappointed in the heavy loss, But it really was more about the exceptional effort from Coach David's team. The Badboys where simply amazing to watch. With so many POD's and coming up against the league's in form side, you need a lot to go right, and that it did. Coach David would have a grin ear to ear after this round... and be demanding this kind of effort every week from his troops!!

A solid 7/9 Predictions this week. Pretty happy with that.

Trade Round Up Round 6

In's & Out's.jpg

Trade Observations...

1. Coach surprisingly traded out Jordan Ridley
1.
Coach broke Josh Dunkley by trading him in only for him to go on and get injured
2. Coaches still thought Jarman Impey was a must have
3. Coaches went a week early on Finlay Macrae even after seeing what happened to the Lachie Jones early traders last week
5. Coaches where forced to trade Patrick Dangerfield out after his injury
5. Coaches traded in Midfield Gun Clayton Oliver
12.
Coaches could not resist picking up basement priced Rhyan "Nigel" Mansell

13. Coaches will have to trade out Josh Dunkley this week after his injury
4. Coaches will have to trade out Lachie Neale this week after his injury
3. Coaches have been massively unlucky and will have to trade out both of Lachie Neale & Josh Dunkley

ROUND 6 PREVIEW

Some big H2H matches for round 5 of the SCS Premier League. The current top 8 is seperated only by % as you would expect in such a compeative league with such competative coaches. Lets have a look at how Round 5 is shaping up.

1619691552676.png

Match of the Round

1619691582829.png

Both coaches are looking to bounce back this week after losses last week, Coach Phil has some issues to deal with this week and will be working ahar at the trade table to fix some notable injured players namely Neale, Dunkley and Dusty, not sure whether he walked under mutliple ladders last week, but fair to say he has been dealt a dificult hand this week. Phil will be glad to get Ridley back this week and will be hoping for a turn around from Josh Kelly. Coach Andrew has not been hit quite as hard, but will be hoping the Duggan from 2 weeks ago shows up this week, not the one that was there last week adn will also be hoping Patty Cripps can see a pick up in scoring.

Prediction: Philszay by 136

Other Matches

1619691623878.png

In what looks to be a compete miss-match based on ladder position, I'm sure Coach Ben will be looking to bounce back after a some-what lack-luster begining to the season. Coach Ben is in somewhat unfamiliar terretory after a slow start to the year. but he is way too good not to bounce back in a big way in the coming weeks. Ben will be glad to hoepfully get Jordan Ridley back this week after a week out with concussion and probably for the first time this year he is glad he does not have Josh Dunkley in his team, whom until his injury last week had been wreaking havoc on non-owners over the openning weeks of the season. Coach Ash will be looking to consolidate a solid start to the year and will be another one hoping Duggan and Josh Kelly can bring an improved performances this week.

Prediction: Beasts FC by 23

1619691653861.png

Coach James has his team going nicely at the moment and will another coach whom will be looking to consolidate a good start to the H2H season. On the other hand Coach Tom will be another looking to bounce back after a some what sluggish start to the season. Both teams will be glad to hopefully get Jordan Ridley back this week and both will have key decisions to make as what to do with injured pair Josh Dunkley and Dusty Martin. This match will be decided in the midfield with Blaze's Josh Kelly and Andrew Brayshaw slugging out against Clayton Oliver and Sam Walsh whom have both shown more consistant from to date. The trade decisions on Dunkley could well shape this contest with Jame's team slightly ahead prior to trade decisions.

Prediction: Ricky Bobby by 93

1619747759919.png

Coach Adrian is another whom has his team flying at the moment sitting 2nd on the ladder after a 3-1 start to the season. Whist coach Matt has a 2-2 start and sits just outside the top 8 so a win this week would put him right back up with the leaders. Both coaches have some issues to deal with this week, both looking for replacements for the injured Josh Dunkley. Depending on the decisons made this week there are currently 8 POD's before trades. Both teams look relatively evenly matched at this point with Tailspower probably slightly ahead at this point, but with cleaver trading on both parts that could change pretty quickly.

Prediction: Tailspower by 73

1619691717569.png

Coach Jack has got his team going well to start the season and is currently sitting in 4th position on the H2H ladder, whist Coach Tim is another whom has got of to a slugglish start to the season. However both are coming of strong results last week and both had very similar scores last week, Coach Jack will be looking to consolidate his postion on the ladder, whist Coach Tim will be looking to continue his good recent form and push towards a top 8 position. Both coaches have to deal with Josh Dunkley this week, whilst Coach Jack will also be without Dusty for this week. Before trades this week both teams look pretty even on paper with Tim having the slight advange in defence and the midfield, but Jack having a slight advantage in the forward line (before trades).

Prediction: PC by 32

1619691751263.png

Coach Adrian and his The Darkness comes up against the formidable Sho and his Jibrangers, the Jibrangers are another team that have got off to a less than perfect start to the season, but will be looking to put his best foot forward. Both teams are struggling recently with the Darkness having a 1-2 win/loss and Jibrangers a 0-3 win/loss in the past 3 weeks, so both teams will be keen to get back on the winners list and to keep in touch with the top 8. Before trades The Darkness has the advantage in defence and also has the advantage that Adrian does not have to deal with the injured Dunkley.

Prediction: Jibrangers by 10

1619691782461.png

Coach Keith will be very happy with his teams start to the year, but has some issues to deal with this week namely the injured Lachie Neale and Josh Dunkley, Coach Jason is another to get off to a somewhat slugglish start and will be keen to get back in the winners list, with a form line of 0-3 in the past 3 weeks, Jason wil be keen to get his season back on track and keep in touch with the top 8. Coach Jason will be hopefully that a positive POD in Ridley will be back this week to aid his cause. On paper before trades, Jason has the clear advantage in defence, Keith has the advantage in the midfield rucks are even and Keith has the slight advantage in the forward line.

Prediction: Courtseans by 75

1619691813680.png

Fair to say coach Mark will not be happy with his teams start to the season, but there is still pleny of time to turn things around, Coach Ian has had a verg good start to the season and sits just on the edge of the 8, but is only % off the top of the ladder due to the closeness of the league. Coach Mark will be sweating on the return of Shannon Hurn and will be glad to get Ridley back this week to lesson the reliance on rookie scores in the back line and has the added advantage of not having to deal with Dunkley this week, but does have Dusty whom if not traded will be reliant on rookies to cover his unavailablity this week. Coach Iain will need to deal with Dunkley at some stage with the potential to bring in another gun midfielder to soften the blow and also has to deal with the absence of Dusty this week. On paper the teams match-up pretty evenly despite the difference in ladder position.

Prediction: Brownie's Bandits by 95

1619691844529.png

Coach David finds himself up against the might and power of Jay this week, so his team will need to be at his best to keep Jay at arms length. Both teams are coming off soild victories last week and will be keen to continue their winning ways to keep in touch with the top 8 on the H2H ladder. Never afraid to try something different Jay has struggled somewhat with more mid and forward rookies than most but is building and will be hopefull of getting some wins soon to move closer to the top 8 before it is to late. Whilst David is on the edge of the top 8 only out by 1 win so will be keen to put this one to bed and move closer to the top 8.

Prediction: Rons Badboys by 89

There will be some big trades made this week and they are likely to have an impact on the matches this week. Goodluck all and may the best teams win
