I worry about his durability - over the last few years he always picks up a knock in every game that he then has to battle through the game with.

He has looked great at times tonight but need to think about the big picture, I can see many jumping on him but I am not convinced myself.
Big picture might be a 115 player for 460k though.

Cripps shakes off Gawn, kicks his third and sticks it up @Rowsus in the stands :p
Let me fix that for you....

Cripps has a 3 metre head start on Gawn, and get's run down from behind by a gangling Gawn, breaking the tackle, and running 5 metres too far, to kick a goal.

Cripps getting run down from behind by Gawn should give you tremors, if you are picking him!

They certainly were, but just because it didn’t happen last season doesn’t mean it won’t happen this year.

The risk is lessened considerably with the reduced starting price and plethora of bail out picks too.
Don't worry BR, the Cripps train will have a few more passengers after tonight, just may not be SCS members... :sneaky:

Still will be a forward Round 6 , so substract one tick.

How does Weitering affect his role ?
End of round 6? No doubt he gets def status of he gets enough games if course!

I would have thought gov is keeping plowman out and weitering replaces McDonald. Weitering is clearly a better defender too so I guess gov is the less accountable of the 2 if they okay together. It doesn't put me off him as a pick anyway.

He’s responsible for a fair whack of scar tissue around here the big fella. Change his name from Cripps to something else and the stigma disappears I’d wager.
Think Carlton generally are responsible for a lot of scar tissue. I got home to see them 45 points up, I haven't seen them score a single point and I'm full of "here we go again" - and the real stuff hasn't even started yet!
