Sounds like Ahmedabad will be using their Gujarati identity (no idea what that is) maybe Hardik's Hitters will work 😀

Not sure if they will (can) use the Giants name in the Lucknow franchise , so maybe Sanjiv's Super Sloggers

RP-SG own the Lucknow franchise , use to own the Rising Pune Super Giants , Sanjiv Goenka is their main man for those that don't get the reference

Some of those Indian players will go for a whole lot of money. 7 players per side at least more likely about 11 *10 teams is 110. I think at that stage the depth of the talent is going to be stretched so the ones that are top tier will cause massive bidding wars.

From memory the squad sizes are 16 local and 8 international, although obviously each team has three players locked away as well. Quite a few of those will be speculative punts at base price but yeah, they'll probably each need to come up with 10 or so locals that can be relied upon to play on any given day.

It'll be interesting to see what teams view as the limiting factor in team composition and who therefore is worth the most in an auction. Wrist spinners? Left arm quicks? Lower order finishers? Their analytics are probably light years ahead of us but maybe this will illuminate some coming trends.
