Is there anything actual definite about this whole Marshall thing? Even if we got 3 or 4 weeks of a Campbell/Hayes combo it could be huge for kick starting his cash gen potential.
I'm pretty sure Marshall just has sore ribs, should be fine for round one and probably rucks solo, I've got Hayes in my side as the cheapest loophole option. There is a small chance they go Campbell/Marshall given they like Marshall a lot as a forward but it seems unlikely.
Sitting on this/ playing around with structures after watching last night’s game - by slotting Cripps & Hewett in it certainly allows you to strengthen your bench options
Not sold on it, but don’t hate it either / normally I am very much Guns & rookies but we have far less viable cheap rookies this year so need to adapt accordingly.
I've had Touk at M3 but can split him into Cripps/Lipinski or Rowell.
So it would be Touk+mid rook vs Cripps/Lip or Rowell. But if Cripps is not a keeper then that means I have 11 keepers. I really want to do it given extra trades! Especially if the 350k guys look even better and the base 123k mid rookies keep looking dire.
I have those same concerns, might need to pay up for Rachelle, but hopefully enough cheap rookies manage to pop up. McComb does seem unlikely, not sure about Dixon either. Sinn and Maginness might not be selected but other cheaper players might be, who knows haha
I like it! If I fiddled it would be in the opposite direction to what you would be comfortable with, I imagine.
Don't like Stephens on the bench so Oliver down to cheap bench rookie, bringing Stephens on field. Use that cash to get Coleman up to Short and Rachele up to T Thomas or Treloar.
(or if you don't like Short you could trade Brodie up instead of Rachele and take Coleman all the way up to Stewart)
Connor sounded more likely than Ward. The Ward comment I saw was "Josh's work ethic and his running capacity puts him in a great position. its going too be tough for too many first year players to make a huge impact but I think he is in a good position".
Think that means he is right up there, not sure if round1.

If you start Cripps at that price he needs to be a keeper.
I think he hasn't looked that good in a very long time and whilst I can see it working it's just too risky for me. I want a couple more games.
I'd rather wait and see two more games from him and correction trade to him if that's viable (maybe because Neale looks ordinary or another mid is injured). Even though it's unlikely that events unfold that way, if he's firing early that's the only way I'll be able to get on board.
