14/1,234 - only 4 x 100+ scores! :sick::sick::cry::cry::poop::poop::poop:
Touk (C), Rowell, Brodie, Hinge, Sicily, Ward, Xerri, JHF to come.

Wife

17/1,800 - Macrae
Sicily, Xerri, Brodie, Hinge, Rowell,
My interpretation of this position @Rowsus is that you have cleverly conceded ground in round one to enjoy the rewards that can come from a partner that is happy and that you will carefully pace your recovery to ensure that victory is yours but in such a way to ensure your relationship can continue without despair or unnecessary angst.

Am I being an optimist?

Had a swerve.

OUT Rowell, Sicily
IN Rachele, Hall

17c / 1810

Touk, Hall, JFH, Brodie tp deffo
Either Ward E looped from the bench or Rachele

Next week it's Steele/Rachele to Cripps/Heeney

If Ward scores good then Rachele won't be in anyway.
I will jig about to get his score and switch Brodie back to forwards
with bringing in a dud dpp loop to go instead of Rachele.

Your decision is more this. But I don't dislike it.

14/1658 8 scores +100. crisp and Ridley biggest let down so far. Crisp looked lost a bit in the middle nick daicos and Pendlebury obviously taking a chunk of his points. Differently not a midfielder IMO I will give him another week to prove me wrong want to swap him for petracca what a beast best player in the competition for an extra 30k.

Well in case no one has asked that question yet, what is the prognostication (that is my word of the day) for par at this point?
I don’t think you want to know his answer. ;)

As for par this early in the season it is a pointless and time consuming exercise holding little relevancy given the differing structures, of which some are known for being slow starters. We cannot currently view the amount of players left of those we share a league with, nor who they have left and for some coaches basic addition for loophole scores yet to be received poses more problems than a player x vs player y decision. The ownership of certain players will be greatly exaggerated in the importance of potential par scores and will not correlate with ownership figures.

Insufficient sample size of those that have posted here, of which we should be well aware provides inaccurate readings due to a limited range and skewness as well as the overwhelming tendency to only post good scores given it is so time consuming to post a poor score.

Played: J Macrae (C), J Dunkley, G Hewett, J Short, M McGovern, R Marshall, B Grundy (VC), N Daicos, J Ridley, L Whitfield, J Kelly, P McCartin, S Coniglio, D Rich, J Berry, L Neale and Z Butters

Yet to play: J Ward, J Horne-Francis, W Brodie, T Xerri and M Rowell

Very happy with performance of all players and hopefully most of the defenders registered their worst score of the season in the most insignificant round for pricing. Uneasy about going four deep plus Hewett down back and well aware of the increased probability of a decreased return on investment which is why I prefer to spend big in the midfield. Struggled to find many midpricers I liked in that position to do a job for 6-8 rounds or amass enough of the ball to be worthy of selection along with the lack of rookies.
I hope it's only the guys doing well posting in this thread, so far behind par it's not funny :(

When you structured to avoid the defender rookies and then all your premiums scored worse than them you're up the proverbial creek...
The 4 premium defender and Hewett was one of the core teams I seriously looked at. Will watch how you both go.

Was a better team than I have today with Hewett, Stewart vs no Touk so Capt would be an issue! Still has the crappy defenders in Crisp and Whitfield (that I still have) so would have the same issue.

Only downside is the removal of Touk needing another midfield rookie which I think would have needed correcting. The downside of this is a premium defender to Hewett (hopefully Walsh back to fully test his role) is a possible correction trade which is not available.

Many scores getting posted with noting the C I think so hard to read top 1000 par. Thinking 2150 maybe?

Currently 15/1488 with Capt Touk to come. Projected sub 1950, although with a decent 125capt a 2050-2100 looks possible.

On another topic, what is the go with the defenders. Many posting poor scoring, faster game having an impact? less chipping around?

Touk(c), Rowell, Dawson, Brodie, Hinge, JHF to come.

Relatively happy. Copped Crisp but avoided Whitfield. Just need Dawson to fire for some POD upside. Berry annoying given he wasn’t in my team until my final restructure but I still have faith in him if he’s fit. The role was there and he showed how well he can score.

Cogs irrelevant.

Touk and Rowell feasting on the Eagles carcass would be a nice way to finish the round.
