Might keep Whitfield this round to access McCartin's score and then trade him out next round to a rookie defender so I can move McCartin onfield and then do the him - > Docherty upgrade.

Free Footy Ferry to Geelong
Available on the 11.00 am service departing from Docklands on Saturday 21 & 28 May using the code: freefootyferry
Port Phillip Ferries is excited to offer Melbourne based footy fans a free one-way trip from Docklands direct to Geelong. The Cats take on Port Adelaide in round 10 and the Adelaide Crows in Round 11. So whether you’re a Cats fan or support one of the Adelaide teams, this is a great opportunity to experience the Game Day Footy Ferry for Free*!

We want to showcase how easy it is to take the ferry from Melbourne to Geelong, so we’re excited to offer everyone who has a same day footy ticket on either of these days, a FREE* one-way ferry trip to Geelong on the 11.00 am service out of Docklands. When you arrive in Geelong it’s a short walk up to GMHBA Stadium, or alternatively, there are regular buses from Moorabool Street to the ground.

If you choose to return to Melbourne on the ferry there’s a 5.30 pm departure out of Geelong, and with a licensed bar onboard you can sit back and enjoy a cold beer or wine as you cruise home. However please be aware the ferry must leave on time so please plan your journey times.

How to claim this offer
All you have to do is click the booking button on this page and enter the promo code freefootyferry after you have entered your details. Then on the day of travel, simply present your same-day footy ticket when boarding and enjoy getting to the footy in style.

If you choose to return to Melbourne on the ferry there’s a 5.30 pm departure out of Geelong which can be purchased at the same time as booking your free service at 11.00 am. However please be aware the ferry must leave on time so please plan your journey times.

The service departs Docklands (in front of Marvel Stadium) at 11.00 am and will deliver you to Geelong at 12.30 pm where it’s a short walk up to GMHBA Stadium, or there are regular buses from Moorabool Street to the ground.

* This offer is only available for same-day footy ticket holders and is only valid on the 11.00 am service departing Docklands on Saturday 21 and 28 May 2022. Pre-booked tickets are essential and cannot be purchased at the ferry on the day. Tickets are limited and will only be available until sold out. This offer does not include a return ferry ticket which will have to be booked separately and is not valid with any other offer. Return bookings can be done at the same time as booking your free service at 11.00 am.

Please note that with the V/Line, coaches replace trains between Wyndham Vale and Waurn Ponds on May 21 and Geelong and Waurn Ponds on May 28, so you may want to catch the 5:30 pm ferry back to Melbourne instead. On May 28 however, you can also walk 24 minutes from GMHBA to Geelong Station to catch the train back to Melbourne.
Reminder for those heading to the Geelong VS Port match today or are attending Geelong VS Adelaide next round.

With Paddy provisionally looped with Charlie Dean I'm left with a genuine dilemma.
Given news during the week of Crisps illness, and the fact Collingwood play last I feel like I may be opening myself up for a 0 if Crisp is a late out.

The solution to this is playing SDK on field and using paddys 85 E as cover incase Crisp is a late out but this means risking SDK v Paddy on field.

Do we have any further Intel on Crisps likelihood to play?

Classic SC dilemma - pure luck involved as to whether it goes pear shaped or not

I have already done my trades. Steele, Whitfield, Macdonald -> Parish, Rich, Clark.

If i trade Rich -> Whitfield do i get my trade back?

I thought about getting Lloyd but Blakey has taken Lloyd's kick ins.

I wish I felt as confident as you that I'd complete a team without using his cash, because I love this option. What a story he's been this year.
I mapped out my trade plans all the way to round 15 and projections have me able to do it comfortably.

Needing to bring in a Bont or B Smith will make it a bit trickier though so quietly hoping neither get dpp!

Hadn’t actually thought about wishing against that, but it makes sense! I’m on board!

Its great having Mcartin on field and seeing him do well. Challenge will be Buku in, if Cleary and Wehr hit the mark it will be tempting to get them. Potentially though Mcartin could go forward.

Whoever made a comment (maybe @wogitalia) that Walsh could go big second half, thank you. Brought him in early and shaping up as a decent POD.

Midfield now complete with Laird. Neale Macrae Laird Touk Walsh Oliver Cripps Petracca. Mills over Petracca maybe would have been better, Petracca great for the byes. Thinking Gawn next if he can reclaim his form, will have to wait for the bonts and smiths, R13 is a killer.

Whilst we have team value and more trades this year, lots of refinements needed to get Bont Smith over Martin, Cogs etc. Still feels we complete our teams only with 5 trades.

Crisp trained yesterday, and we heard nothing in regards to not looking up to speed or anything. I think if he gets on the plane (presumably today) then he’ll play. No reason to fly over there and not play if he’s still not 100% or near enough to.
