The Bulldogs were without Tim English (AF $884k SC $605k F/R) for the second week with concussion. Dogs coach Luke Beveridge said: “We think Tim will probably be right to go next week. I can’t say that with 100% certainty. But that’s the plan. We’ve been conservative, giving him another week, make sure he’s OK. My conversation with him the other day was he’s feeling good, he’s training, he missed a bit of work. He’ll probably be available for selection.”

🤞
Such high maintenance - I mean, how was I know to know that guys like English, Whitfield, Butters, Preuss, Cripps, McGovern could all be subject to injury at one point or another this season, just unheard of

Did the same thing as last week - full on work hours, didn't even register that WB were playing on Thursday, still have English when I needed the cash and points elsewhere.

Oh, well, at least I'm earning some actual $ for a period of time to the detriment of my already middling SC team. English has taught me a huge lesson though, and not just linguistically.

Where is the link to where they said he is guaranteed to be playing ?

Saw the one about him having to present himself on the Monday but must have missed the other one.

Their Round 15 Rehab report (dated June 20) said he had been cleared of any serious ankle damage , but didn't mention a return date ,did say they expected him to be available for Round 16 selection.

Not a doctor/physio but I guess it then depends on how it responds to treatment and then a load increase as to when he is able to resume playing.
Would it have hurt them to put "Ankle 1-2 weeks/TBA" instead of "Suspension 1 week"?

The clowns made it sound like there was nothing wrong with him....
