Yep all true, and what better time than now - I was commenting more on Essendon misreporting or mishandling the severity of soft tissue injuries.

On the first point, or related to it at least - we seem to play better with only Parish, or only Sheil in the mids. Yet to see if Sheil can do it consistently, but on the field together I don't think they have much synergy and often somehow unintentionally negate one another's strengths. Parish is the clear 1st choice though.

I see , I guess it's hard to know how his calf has responded to treatment in 4 weeks time today , so probably best to guestimate.

I'm hugely ambivalent about this... huge part of me says YES Please!!! Another part of me says, get away from the messiah complex and work hard and follow through with the plan you've set in place like Hawthorn did with Clarko. (I know your post was tongue in cheek btw.) Essendon love another quick fix, and the current one has now blown out 15 years.
