No crowd storming the field?

I was a bit surprised the Hawks managed to beat 4 of the other VFL teams to 1000 wins (Lions, Dogs, Roos, Saints) as they were terrible in the early years, not making finals until the late 50's. They were also the last of the Victorian clubs to join the league in 1925 (same time as the Dogs and Roos). I suppose 13 flags since 1961 helps get the wins up.
