I reckon it’s interpretable either way depending on the overall context of your team, relative scoring for the round, and other variables. His logic is a bit simplistic. I agree with you that Petracca at 11% is a significant Pod. Gawn underscoring his price is not significant in context.

So let me get this straight,

No Nick Martin
No Jack Martin
No Dustin Martin

Hmmm....something strange is going on with the Martins this week :p
Probably no Martin Frederick either, 0/5 for the Martin's. Joel Amartey and Will Martyn not looking much chance either.

...we're not having another run of posts with slightly different spelling until we finally find someone who is playing are we? :)

Have they all become Housemartin's.
Is there a Doc Marten in the house? Urgent medical problems kicking off!

no preuss

hogan and haynes in

pretty reliable souce

means hayes r2 for me this week
If that is correct, that will hurt many - I know a few people went the Preuss option especially after Hayes went big Friday night, with no Darcy (English & Gawn playing Wed pm really limited options to pair with Grundy other than Marshall & Witts really) but this is the exact reason I was worried about if taking Preuss at R3 - there were no guarantees he would be picked round 2/ hard to read Leon with his team selections then there is the poor durability of Preuss.

Not sure whether it has been mentioned (I just learned this myself) but Dusty lost his father over the off season so this may still be playing on his mind, especially after having to overcome the kidney injury late last season. One can only hope that he has the support to deal with whatever he needs to deal with.

Hmm, interesting choice, but think it's almost worth trading Preuss at this rate. No cash gain until at least R5, and no guarantees of even getting it then. I did think he'd be at worst second ruck to Flynn most rounds this year, just another reason to avoid GWS players I guess.

Further to the posts on fyfe and Brodie, I read that as they are unsure on when Fyfe may return. Good for Brodie this week at least and maybe longer.

Andrew Brayshaw and Will Brodie each had five centre clearances and Longmuir said he would look to build on the latter's involvement after the former Gold Coast midfielder's time on ground was restricted to 65 per cent.

"We'll keep working on his game time. There were a few players who were a little bit low because they got caught off for the last five minutes of the game," the coach said.

"I think he can build on his game from the weekend."
