To come
4 prems: Short Steele Marshall Hall
2 midpricers: Cogs Brodie
2 Rookies: JHF Hayes

I offer one of my 3 children as a sacrifice to the Supercoach Gods if they keep the Sunday carnage away from me and let me get somewhere near 2,400
Me too. I would also offer one of @lavenderbandit 3 kids to get near 2400. ;)

Have all of Neale , Cripps , Macrae , Heeney & Butters so a few underwhelming ones balancing it all out.

Gibcus , Ryan , Short , Whitfield
Brodie , Horne-Francis
Coniglio

Luckily got Curnow's 113 off the bench via Long , resisted the urge to trade in a donut to get Stephens 95 so hopefully JHF gets close to it

Played: J Macrae (C), J Dunkley, M McGovern, G Hewett, P McCartin and D Stephens

Yet to play:
Saturday: B Grundy, N Daicos, L Neale, J Berry, D Rich, J Ridley, Z Butters and M Rowell
Sunday: J Horne-Francis, T Xerri, J Short, L Whitfield, J Kelly, S Coniglio, R Marshall and W Brodie

Bar McGovern, a great start by all, led by the dependable Macrae. Opportunity for redemption today for Ridley and Rich, especially Rich, as he will unfortunately need to be cut to fund the Ward and McGovern upgrades to Cripps and Heeney next round via a trade boost.

Rich and Ridley redeemed for their poor opening round scores whilst Neale and Butters continued their terrific start to set a solid foundation for another score of 2200+.

Missed the boat to get Hayes in off the bench for Rachele (Martin) as I was off lounging in the pool, but 58 for an M6 rookie is OK-ish especially for a small forward in an 8 goal drubbing.

Short, Whitfield, JHF, Cogs and Brodie to come, hoping to get close to 2,300 if they can average 75+ between them...

From AFL.com.au :-

Jackson jets to another level

While Max Gawn had his usual strong influence, it was third-year sensation Luke Jackson who first steadied the ship for Melbourne and then totally gave his team the momentum early in the match. He had nine disposals, including five clearances, in a dominant first quarter, capping it off with a classy left-footed stoppage goal. Just like the Grand Final, Jackson was magnificent at centre bounces and finished with 21 disposals and seven clearances to go with two goals.

He was sensational tonight, no doubt at all that he will be the best ruck in the game in a few years, unbelievable talent.

14/1632 - Macrae.

Am away for my 10th wedding anniversary, so no footy or SC last night and just catching up on things this morning.

Bowey!!!! Its nice to have a low ownership selection score like that!

Gawn :cautious: The experiment is over. You lot were right. Hmmmmm, I wonder if I can get Baldwin to Cripps if I go Gawn to English...

HAWKS!!!!!!!!1!!!!:love:(y)(y) It will be blah blah, Hinkley, blah, Port, blah. But you don't win by 60 points without doing something right. Can't wait to find time to watch the game replay.
