Barring Sunday carnage there'll be no trades, but it looks like I'll have to bring Martin in the week after, probably at the expense of Xerri/Preuss as I have Durdin and Hayes at F7/8. Oh, and Mr Crisp, you've had your warning, one more exhibition like the last will see your sorry arse out of the team.

Issues:
Berry
- Not really interested holding someone with a dodgy shoulder. Goodbye!
Crisp - This sort of reminds of Caleb Daniel early last year. Probably comes good but with a few things changing around him, he struggled to get ball down back. Will give another week to assess.
Steele - Less to do with Steele and more to do with how much money is tied to him. Not sure there is anything I can do now. He looked frustrated the whole night, think he'll bounce back.

Non selections
Jack Hayes
- Welp, on the broadcast they said Ryder is available next week (VFL or AFL). The rest is history.
English - Abnormal stat line with 8 FF but he looks great and is competing a bit better in ruck contests. Around the ground stuff is A+.
Petracca - Can't do much about this, picked up where he left off on that 120+ post bye average. Could go on a run of 140+
Cripps - Will let this one go, didn't pick for durability long term. He is back though.
Green - Will also let this go, soft tissue history and uncertain on his output but looked unreal
JDG - This one shocked me because I thought he was a terrible CB mid, but he was great there. Not sure the role is strong enough to go 110+ but he looks like a decent upgrade target.
Lipinski - Coming in for Berry this week, preseason hype matched his output.
Doch/Saad - While I won't grab either, I watched Carltons intraclub that a watcher streamed on youtube about 6 odd weeks ago and they basically chipped it around non stop for an entire quarter. Think they will be a very friendly SC team with the way the mid and defense plays.

Berry to Lipinski is locked, and then will need to find 100k

Owens to Hayes is an obvious correction for me but not one for this round.

Sicily / Ridley to Hewett another potential correction on the cards but again, need another week of data.

Treloar to English would be a potential pure luxury trade.

Likely I sit tight this round.

Owens out for someone, but not sure who.
I would like to get Nic Martin in but will depend on what happens today.
At the match yesterday I noticed Martin in defense a few times getting possessions. He certainly has a tank on him and I cannot see anyway he gets dropped in the foreseeable future.

Someone concerning if golf is less frustrating than supercoach... !
I always say I never once stressed in my life until I started playing golf. I'm sure I'll be swapping them back somewhere around the 5th hole next time I'm contorting my body up against some tree just trying to punch a medicine ball back into play

Out: M Owens
In: N Martin (via Maginness)

Preferably I would like to wait until RD3 for rookie corrections but his performance will buy increased job security and I am more impressed from the role he received and the work around the ground in terms of disposals and marks given the scoreline.

Also provides an opportunity to use a trade boost in RD3 if necessary for a possible restructure.

Probably my 1 and only trade as well
