Some dodgy calls went against Brisbane but they had some chances towards the end to kick what should've been goals...Rayner lol that's probably one of the misses of the season.

p.s. decent score by De Koning, some extra cashhhh moneyyyy 💰💰

Turned on with 11 minutes to go.. scores were level and now I’m just angry with the umpiring even though I really couldn’t care about the result- how Hawkins gets away with that push that ultimately won the game I don’t know
And my wife says we shouldn’t go to bed angry… but I said I’d be there in 10 minutes…

Truly baffling umpiring on display tonight. Someone's (hopefully) going to get a talking to because if I was a Brisbane fan I'd be livid.

Went with Neale VC, hoping for a bit of scaling and locking him in because I've been hopeless at picking captains this year.

I missed the Stewart late out, De Koning did well enough at least.

Geelong were a bit too good, would've won more comfortably if they'd taken their chances. That said, Tom Hawkins should've been umpired out of the game by now. Being big and strong shouldn't mean the rules don't apply to you.

The Rayner miss was awful, but Cockatoo had his head taken off a second before it and it was ignored (meanwhile he's on report for something Dangerfield did much worse than plenty of times).

Geez, those late changes hurt. Wonder if any umpiring decisions will favour the home crowd 😜
Sure, I like the Cats (missus fan = happy days tonight) & tipped them, but geez, I can forgive Lions fans for partaking in that oldest of supporter traditions.
Oh yeah, SC score-wise, Neale 👍

I’m not watching tonight’s game but am following the discussion regarding Berry. From an outsider looking in, I gather his leadership presence is rated highly internally within the club and a genuine chance at becoming the next club captain. Hence the repeated opportunities in a stacked midfield. Hopefully the shoulder issue is visual only and can pump out a solid score
I think it's a genuine lack of respect for Brisbane and interstate clubs in general, Berry is an elite talent who can't stay fit but he's got the talent level of guys like Oliver if he could, ultimately injury will rob him of that I think as just seems to find a new injury every couple of weeks but he keeps getting chances because he's seriously good. The shoulder injury is a huge blow though because it genuinely limits the 3 things he does best which is his tackling, contested ball and high point marking as a midfielder.
