Can’t justify that trade myself

He ran off the field, certainly looks minor & everything I have heard since indicates that. Sounds like he tweaked it, good that he realized before he did any more damage.
Was jogging in the rooms directly after his injury, was talk that he might have even played this round, the club are probably being cautious giving him this week off.

So is Mitch Hannan. But it doesn’t stop the Dogs using him to back up a solo ruck that struggles to win hitouts himself.
If they are not going to use Allen as the second ruck then I guess someone has to do it , be funny hearing his team mates yell out "wait Oscar you are not allowed to ruck"

Bevo' ruck plan for the last 2-3 years though has been to get a extra mid around the stoppage to create confusion to the opposition , they obviously have set plans they use as well

I might bring in NOD and Sam Hayes for two of Stephens/Gibcus/Owens just to try and get a couple of my worst rookies off the field. I'm not sure if it's a productive use of two trades, but hey why not.

Is it worth doing CMacDonald to Dixon? would be a 3rd trade this week. Dixon scored 50 in the last quarter otherwise was headed for a bad score. However with the 90 odd in his cycle he will go up in price.

I’d like to see the percentage of 1 week hammies.

Alternatively it’s a prime chance to up grade and push on. I guess it depends if you’re still pushing overall or league.
This was basically my thinking.

That, and the fact that Cripps’ poor form in recent years seems to have been heavily fitness-related, and I get the sense that Carlton have been less than honest at times.

Cripps to Macrae for me. When he comes back and if he plays like he has easy upgrade, good price.

Is there any upside to trading (or keeping) Ward or MacDonald?

Take the small profit, facilitate the trade and be done with one of them is my current thoughts. Adds NOD and allows Rachelle to move to mids.
