Trades Made: Out: Hall, Rowell & JHF. In: Mills, Witherden & Rosas
Heroes: Me. Traded in Mills & Witherden.
Villains: Grundy getting injured.

Comments: Have burned through a heap of trades and will continue to burn through them during upgrade season. Don't like the idea of trading in Hobbs as I think he'll stall slightly north of 200k, but at least he's a playing mid option right now. Might go super early on Greg Clark & hope he plays well enough to cement a spot in the side. Much to ponder.

Planned trades at this point are:

Out - McCartin, Grundy & Jayes
In - Oliver, Clark & Sayes

Leaves cash in the bank & a simple one up, one down next week to bring in Steele for Ward. Issue is I need a forward or defender rookie for the 'one down' component. This would be ideal as it gets my lowest scoring rookie off the field.

Trades Made:
OUT: English and Rowell - IN: Preuss and B Smith.
I reluctantly traded out Rowell, who I gave one more chance last week to show something, but was disappointing.
I wanted to trade in Steele, but then I couldn't afford to take advantage of Oliver's price drop next week, so I traded in B Smith instead.
B Smith was scoring well, lots of positive hype about him, low BE, so he looked like a good player to get in this week before his price rise, at worst a handy M8.

Heroes:
DEF: Gibcus (on bench, but he has restarted his cash generation), Sinclair, Short, Crisp, Hewett,
MID: N. Martin
RUC: Grundy, Preuss
FWD: Dunkley,

Villains:
The SuperCoach Gods.
They projected I will score 2,250 and they dish up a 1,990.
They subbed out 3 of my on field players, Hayes (16), Dow (12) and P McCartin (44) and ruined any chance of winning my League Games.
They knock my ranking down from 993 to 7,987.

Intended Trades: Definately going to use my 1st Boost Trade.
OUT: three of P. McCartin, Dow, Grundy, J Hayes, Horne-Francis, Rachele, Durdin.
IN: not exactly sure yet, but likely Oliver, S Hayes and then I will see how much money I have left for my last trade in (+$367k in bank).

Planning to keep Butters, as he had genuine excuses for his poor scoring. He doesn't have ongoing health problems, but his game playing style is a concern. I'll keep Dixon, likely to be back soon. Touk Miller is a concern, but he did improve in the latter part of the game, so maybe he has turned the corner??? Anyway, I have bigger issues with the injured players than to worry about these guys.

Heroes: Hewett, Sicily, Short, Dunkley, Crisp, Martin, Gawn, Preuss, Brodie
Villains: Captain Neale, Macrae, Miller, Petracca, Taranto, De Goey, Butters
Trades Made: OUT: English, Rowell, JHF IN: Preuss, Stewart, De Goey
Trades Planned: Oliver and Hayes to come in with one other
Comments: Nightmare round which I guess I was due after such a good start. Just Dunkley went big while plenty of other premiums were well below par. Not having any of Steele, Oliver or Cripps also hurt the score. Extremely frustrating that all four of my premium trade-ins this season who were all averaging over 100 at the time have all failed to ton up on debut. Fingers crossed they were the correct picks long-term. Hoping round 6 was just a blip on the radar and regular programming resumes from round 7.

Heroes: Rich, Hewett, Parker, Cripps Grundy, Gawn, Dunkley
Villains: Captain Neale, Lloyd, Dawson, Titch, Hayes'knee, Butters, Heeney
Trades Made: OUT: Hinge, Ward IN: Parker, Rosas
Trades Planned: Hayes to Hayes and Grundy to Witts, although, now considering running Gawn and Hayes as my rucks this week and upgrading elsewhere with Darcy to come in as a POD next week. Have to decide whether to block the Witts POD after all the Grundy owners trade him in this week or set up my own Darcy POD.
Comments: Don't think any comment necessary. Was looking forward to the week after a traditional one up one down and instead lost 9k positionally, had two in game injuries and a late out injury (thanks GCS medical staff).

Trades Made: English, Rowell, Hall --> Pruess, Heeney, Bazlenka
Heroes: Bowey, Neale, Green, Dunkley, Grundy, Hewett, Short, Oliver (c), & Preuss
Villains: NOD, Touk, JHF, Xerri, Hayes :( , Butters, Ridley, VC Macrae, Bazlenka, Heeney
Comments:

Summed up my season really - traded in two premiums, got two non-premium scores. The injury bug keeps biting and its harder and harder to find positive POD's. Every POD I bring in turns negative, and every negative POD I bring in to fix :poop:'s the bed. I love Supercoach!

Intended Trades: May, Petracca, Libba, Cripps are all on my interest list. Will look to see Portayes (I guess just Hayes now :( ) at R2 behind Preuss and see if I can eek through.

Not sure which emoji sums things up better:  or :poop:. Probably a combination of the two.

Bypassed the Dunkley VC score as that would have meant fielding Rachele - would have still been better off after all my other C options failed, including the one I ended up going with. Looped Preuss rather than Hayes which made sense at the time, but was the wrong decision. Plenty of injuries, plenty of dud scorers I'll need to keep just to field a team. Expecting another poor round this time.

About the only decent thing I did was save the trade boost I originally had (MacDonald to Rosas). Think I'll need to burn a boost just to field a sort of reasonable side, let alone keep upgrading my team - that's not happening this round as I had originally planned.

Trade outs will probably be Xerri, Grundy and Hayes, but may hold one (Hayes) and get rid of a midfield maxed out rookie instead (likely Rachele) so that I don't lose too much cash. Gawn is going to murder the Hawks this round, so looking at bringing him in, probably Hayes and Rosas as the other two. Haven't really thought about it much yet to be honest.

Score: 2074

Rank: 36,730 (down 9k)

Heroes: hahahahahahaha no one (okay, Steele, Dunks and Grundy were ok)

Villains:
Whitfield 65, McCartin 45
Petracca 87, Bont 88, Macrae 92
Williams 31, Hayes 16, Xerri 68, Butters 58

Trades:
Rowell, JHF, MacDonald >
Petracca, Pruess, Perez
Was, soooo, so close to getting Mills instead of Petracca didn't expect a 200, but now I'll never be able to get him in.

Planned Trades: Grundy, Xerri, Hayes >
Oliver, Rosas, Hayes

Comments:
Another painful week to add to the disaster that is 2022.
Grundy, Xerri, Hayes, Williams, McCartin, Dow all dead in the same week, 5 of them on field.
On top of that Durdin's cash gen is cooked.

Had planned my moves so that I'd be able to get Oliver in 2 trades this week, but then he dropped a 160 and all my cash gen dried up, now I have to sideways Grundy and use a boost to get him in.

Don't think I've every been ranked this poorly outside of bad round 1 results.
Just so many trades wasted on bad rookies.
A top 10k finish would be a win from here.

Trades Made: OUT: English, JHF, Gibcus, IN: Preuss, Petracca & Parker
Heroes: Neale (108x2), Dunkley (142), Grundy (129), Hewett (114), Sicily (113), Short (111), Crisp (103), Rowell (103), Brodie (103) & Parker (100)
Villains: Miller (99), Macrae (92), Petracca (87), Bazlenka (80), Xerri (68), Crapfield (65), Butters (58), Dow (12)
Comments: Keeping it short and simple as it's a late review. So much ruck carnage to start the round and my plans all ruined with Rosas being a late out on Sunday arvo. Was away for the entire round so didnt get to watch much footy up until the Monday. Trading out Gibcus was a huge blunder I'll likely regret. Petracca was a bit regretful as a trade in.

DEF: 8.5/10
Four tonnes from five premos. Crapfield being his usual crap self.

MID: 3/10
Only 2 tonnes on this whole line making it the worst line. Dow :(

RUC: 10/10
Grundy very courageous to play on with his injury. Preuss excellent $$$.

FWD: 9/10
Xerri the only fail and now will need to be traded out.

Intended Trades: 3 donuts to 3 playing players
