Strategy 2022: Round 6 Trades

JH-F, Durdin, Rowell /Rosas, Preuss, Petracca. Due to the majic of DPP allows Xerri, Hayes, Gawn and Grundy on field. Now with many more players with DPP I have to teach myself how to use it properly when trading and deciding what players to play for the week. Eg, I found the above trades a bit difficult to achieve whilst shuffling players, got there but.

Desperate to get Oliver in..... don't trust Leon Cameron. Who know where Cogs will end up with Greene back in.

Probably not up forward which is where GWS midfielder scores go to die.

The injury history isn’t great for either of them. We should all be well aware that one knock to the wrong part of Paddy’s head could literally end his career.

It’s the JS that’s the clincher for me. Hinge seems to have shaky JS while McCartin’s JS is rock solid.

Can someone explain Preuss’ appeal apart from $$? does he have really good JS? (I don’t watch many GWS games) I’m not keen on having that many points on the bench each week, could be good cash gen though..

I have Gawn/Grundy so not going to trade any of them.

McCartin is going nowhere from my team at D 5 for the moment. Solid v good player.

The appeal is really good and potentially really fast $$$. He also has the talent to average 100 as an R2 (which in this year's rucking pantheon is actually serviceable) with or without Flynn playing.

If you want to know whether Preuss is GWS best ruck then the answer is a definitive yes. The questions around him are fitness and being a dumbass who runs it close to getting himself rubbed out every week.

Trade out Hinge
Trade out Rowell
Rosas is worth it, also look to trade in both Hayes and Hobbs on the bubble if both score well again this round

Trade out neither Hinge or McCartin if playing.
Trade Rowell for an upgrade only
Rosas appears to be worth it particularly to get Rowell up to a keeper. 2c
