I’m in the same boat as you, was thinking of bringing him in this round as well…. Have held off long enough but think he has shown enough consistency that he will finish top 6 in the forwards…
I agree. I think he's still value compared to his average, and with English out, this is an opportunity.

Tempted to go English to Heeney, but that would burn another boost.
Exactly the same as me. Hovering over it all day. Would be my second boost used but with Preuss and Grundy (and Hayes next week) I would at least have ruck depth to cover the loss of English.

Can either just go Hinge -> Rosas...
or
Hinge -> Rosas
&
Rowell -> Witherden/Parker/De Goey/MCDONALD ARGH

Can't decide.

Anybody holding English?

Two weeks is doable yeah?
I traded out English as I think it is most likely that he will miss at least 3 games. If you look at the fixture, that 3rd game is a Friday night game in Port Adelaide. So you would think the Bulldogs wouldn't rush him back, putting him on a plane trip to play a poor team with a rookie ruckman (Sam Hayes). Plus he didn't do the hamstring last weekend, he did it at training on Wednesday. So that would put that Friday night game only 2 weeks and 2 days after the injury.

Of course it depends on your forward and ruck cover and who you will be playing on field for the next 3 weeks.

Time to have some fun

Hinge - > Preuss
Durdin - > Rosasa
Rowell - > Bazlenka (instead of Petracca)

Gives me Cripps , Macrae , Neale & Smith

Oliver Round 7 , need Steele

Room for 2 others
My god didn't realise how poor his disposal is , could have scored 100+ just in that quarter if he was actually clean.

This could be one hell of a fun ride 😀

Thinking either
Double down
Rowell, Stephens/Sinn for Hobbs and Rosas
OR
Rowell, Stephens/Sinn for Lipinski and Rosas(cant find any other viable players in any position under $480k that is better then Lippa?

Either way, will probs end up with 29 trades

Out: J Horne-Francis, M Hinge and M Rowell
In: T Miller, L Parker (via N O’Driscoll and W Brodie) and M Rosas (via N Martin)
View attachment 42994

Ideally allows T Dow and J Berry to S Hayes (via fwd/mid and Dixon) and C Oliver next round.
Better score a 120+ now Miller since the alternatives in Laird and Steele went 120+. :ROFLMAO:

Cash saved by going Miller was planned to avoid a boost which has now been shelved due to the unfortunate Hayes injury and the poor showing from Rachele.

Trades for next round already sorted and a third boost to be used to turn Rachele, J Hayes and T Dow/J Berry to B Hobbs, S Hayes and C Oliver.

fade != slice
draw != hook

There's a couple of propositions to furrow your brow over.
Ohhh, I'm triggered now. :) Someone hold me back.
These are common myths and misused all the time, often by people who should know better. A fade and a draw are strong shots that hold their flight. A slice is a ballooning shot that loses distance and a hook is a dipping shot that loses distance. A fade is not a small slice. A small slice is a small slice. Even though a hook goes further than a slice a good fade goes further than a draw.

I'll leave now.
But listen from outside the door!

As far as I'm concerned:
Draw & Fade = shots played by people who know what they're doing. :cool:
Slice & Hook = shots I play when I'm trying to hit down the middle of the fairway o_O

TBH the whole Dogs team DE was poor particularly in that 1st quarter (yes, I brought in Baz too) and if you look at the FT DE of the Dogs it would be way under what they normally deliver. The Crows brought a high pressure game and turned it into a scrap which was what Nicks alluded too in his pre game presser which actually suited Dunks game the most. One of the keys for the Crows was Keays (sorry) I've been tempted to bring him in as a POD but his DE has put me off, if he had have dobbed a couple of goals (kicked 0.4) then he was looking at a 150+ game.

Crap Rosas out with a calf
Unreal. The spots I've already used on field give me basically nowhere to go here. Maybe have to switch to early on Hobbs? Brutal.

Would think that makes him not exactly a lock as an in next week even if he pulls up well...
