I haven't watched him play yet, are Strandica's hitout numbers as concerning as they look?

Yes, 19 hit outs (not sure HTA) as number 1 ruck in two games, looks terrible in the ruck really, even WCE preferred Dixon in the last quarter.

But still scored okay, so not sure on him, can he hold the number 1 ruck role?

19 disposals (13 effective), 14 marks (including at least 8 contested marks), 13 CP's , kicked 7.5 - would be pretty hard not to go 150+ with that stat line I reckon.
