Ok:
1. = JHF > McComb; Daicos > Sicily; Brodie > Parker

2 = JHF > McComb; Daicos > Sicily

3 = JHF > MCComb: Hewett > Sicily; Daicos> Parker

Something else?

Out: J Rachele and J Horne Francis
In: L Parker and R McComb

Allows you to keep Daicos and Hewett and still have an avenue to the likes of Clark, Stephens, etc in the coming rounds by trading Dixon (via Long) and Ward.

Yeah, sort of feels like I'm trying to do too much at once. Thanks for the advice. I'm thinking Brodie could score pretty well again this week too.

I've been going round and round in circles this afternoon, is it really that obvious that Berry has to be traded out this week to accommodate Parker?

Any way I try to retain Berry it means having someone who will possibly put up a strong score sitting on the bench either up forward or in the midfield. Am I over thinking this and should I just do the obvious move of Berry and Rachele to Parker and one of McComb / Clark / Rioli?

I've kept Berry and traded JHF out this week for Parker purely because I have faith that Berry can beat up on a makeshift West Coast side, he would be next for me to go however and would have for Clark plus cash if Clark was in this week.

Yeah it's a case of either Berry has to go, Berry ends up on the bench, or Nick Martin does, so in the end it has to be Berry out.

Have to hope Berry doesn't break out over the next 3-4 games I guess to validate that position. Will probably sit on the trade boost again this week and bring Clark in as one of the next wave of rookies I genuinely can see holding their spot and scoring well enough to make 200k in reasonable time.

I just can't see McComb being that guy, although he could still make a quick 80-100k easily. IMO there's just too many others to look at next week eg. Hamilton, Rioli, Carroll, Strnadica to be punting on a guy with ordinary looking skills and a reliance on kicking goals to even put up a middling rookie score after getting plenty of the ball.

How much cash have you got? This all depends on what's in the bank?
Could you swap Rachelle and Long - trade Rachelle to Curtis, and Dixon to Parker, then use Long to loop in the mids or forwards via Martin etc.?

Also, in any case make sure you set your mid EM. Ward could go alright against the Bombers. (Depending how you set up in the end.)

Will have a look at Hayes’ first half before making my decision on which trade option I go with.

OUT: Daicos, NOD, Berry

1. Hayes scores well
IN: Dawson, Short, McComb

2. Hayes does not score well
IN: Darcy, Short, McComb
Hayes looking good enough I think.

Looks like it’s Dawson, even though I still really want Darcy.

Already locked in now, problem was in the end already having eight on-field mids and six onfield fwds, so someone had to make way somewhere for Parker as I'm certainly not in a position to be having a 350-400k player as a loop on either line and that guy is Berry.

McComb scored ok tonight which stings a little but looking ahead I could only afford to carry one more non-DPP MID rookie for now and Clark is the one to take that spot I think even though I've gone two weeks early on him.

As an aside Rozee instead of Parker last week was the mistake in hindsight with Hinkley shoving both Butters and Rozee forward for a lot of the game despite his mutterings about both being in their core midfield rotation. If I'd flipped that call then I'd be in a better spot now and probably looking at bringing in Sicily instead, but that's one failed risk-taking exercise that I'll have to wear.

$3000 shy of Pendlebury and Stewart to replace Daicos and McCartin due to trading Dow over Rachele last round.

Appreciate thoughts on the best use of the large cash this round:
A. Out: N Daicos and J Berry, In: J Steele and S Pendlebury
B. Out: N Daicos and H Dixon, In: S Pendlebury and D Zorko/J Sicily (via McCartin)
C. Out: H Dixon and P McCartin, In: J Lloyd (via De Koning) and D Zorko
D. Other

Maybe something like Dixon > Sicily by swinging SDK forward.
Next week you could go O'Driscoll down to a Clark type swinging SDK back and Hamilton forward. Could then go Hayes > Darcy if you want him.

Gee it's going to take some strong internal fortitude not to do this today

Dacios and Hewett to Sicily and Oliver

Would mean passing on Macrae on Macrae's as VC and going Neale or Gawn as C

But it let's me get Oliver over JHF this week and also closes two major negative POD in Oliver and Sicily.

Give me strength, lol

I'm not gonna be any help, I'm contemplating a trade of Hewett and Daicos too! My targets would likely be Cripps and May (one of them has to be a defender). I'm very annoyed I can't find a reasonable route to Cripps and Parker though - I could trade Jackson but that doesn't sit right with me.
