Correct, it would’ve been a dive forward not a flop
He was guilty of that at times. At times it was actually in his technique, at times it was exaggerated, and he says he regrets that. You want to start pointing out the flaws of every champion we can start a thread for every club if you want.

Thanks for digging the heels in when I was trying to bring attention to the way Essendon played, not ask for ad hominem attacks. Happy Sunday to you all.

I just logged on and yours was the first post I saw bud, if I missed context I apologise - I don’t go back reading what’s been said in the past, no time for that!

He looks to have good job security but he is traditionally a low scorer.
Does Rory Thompson actually have good job security though? It’s hard to know if he’s truly best 22 given he’s been out so long.

I assume Collins & Ballard are ahead of him in the key defender pecking order now, so will they always structure up with Thompson in the team as a 3rd key defender? Or will it depend on the opponent?

I'm not too sure, I'm just going by the fact they didn't de-list him when he had the injury and saw a spot for him.

Thompson in does allow Ballard to play his true interceptor position. Hopefully it is something Dew wants as coach.
