Had teen-wolf in my supercoach team when he was a rookie and this is probably the last year he could ever find a spot in my SC team again.
Pretty certain I'll start him, even if it's just the nostalgic reasons that swing it...not to mention he does look hungry and mean this year!
Will be happy to watch and cheer him on for a few rounds whilst glancing sideways at Callaghan and Flanders, looking closely for any signs of an emerging Lycan in them.
I'm like'n what you did there

flanders & mckenna vs fyfe & df rookie (not sure who)
I prefer Fyfe to Flanders as mentioned earlier, but if you don't have a suitable rookie sorted to go with him, it might not be a good option for your team overall.

Why Bont over Macrae?
This seems to be the popular option.

I think Bont is largely predicted to get a bit of a boost with Dunkley moving on (and a few other changes, meaning he will probably have more mid than forward time). Macrae had a bit of a negative role last year for scoring, and that could either continue or it could mean he is underpriced - I'm thinking the latter.

...I've said it before and I'll stick to it - I'm backing Libba over either. Likely the wrong option, but I'm only doing an off-line team this year anyway due to running the combined team.

Thinking about on field points here.

Phillips (M8) and Flanders (F6) vs Callaghan (M6) and McLean (F6) (Phillips to the bench in the second option)

I actually think Macrae is the one who benefits from Dunkley moving.

Bont benefits from Lobb entering and then JUH and Darcy further confirm that positive change if either can be a decent 3rd tall option up forward.

Bont's issue is now solely his durability, half the time he has played forward has been injury related and half has been him being needed as a forward, so only 1 thing to overcome now.

I agree - I can see Macrae getting back to his usual numbers and being under priced, I can see him being a top 4 mid this season. That said Bont hasn't left my team all preseason but as strange as it may sound I have Oliver/Neale and Macrae in that upper tier with Laird. Ideally I'd like to finish with Laird, Oliver, Neale, Macrae, Bont, Miller with the last 2 spots at this stage Trac/Kelly/Brayshaw/Steele or .........

Agree entirely, I don't see any reason that Bont and Macrae can't both score in the 120s this year (I'm ignoring the Bevo in the room). Realistically I think they'll tighten their midfield rotation, Dunkley's points will go about 70 to the forwards that slide into the side in that HF role he played a fair bit of and about 35 to the midfield group. If they do tighten it then you've got Bont, English, Smith, Macrae, Libba and Treloar basically sharing that 35.

I see about 6-10 mids being capable of 120+ this year that didn't do it last year, I'd say Bont, Macrae and Cripps would be my three picks right now if you put the gun to my head. (Dunkley also a very good shot but consider him a fwd).
