Geelong for such a good team has a no name midfield now, with Selwood gone and Dangerfield almost gone. Guthrie in there but who else.

Any Geelong people got a guess for their four main starting midfielders this year? Holmes or Bruhn could be very handy if locked into Geelongs midfield this year.

Tigers won three flags with a midfield that got the job done, but weren't superstars by any means (Dusty as M/F aside).

Not like the Bris fab 4 back in the day or Geelong a bit later with Ablett/Selwood etc.

Shows you what strong forwards, backs and good coaching can do.

Yeah you are right, besides the best midfielder and player in the comp tigers had an average midfield group.

Official comment is he was being managed. SO that does suggests he is probably close or in best 22. Is managed calf or load, who knows, it is Geelong. I haven't looked into his injury history of what they were, however, little bit of a flag.

For those who watches Show me the Money II, AFL draft day, Danger was contacting him mid 2022, wanting him to come across. He tour the facility and went where he felt he was wanted. From memory other team was Essendon, however, they had coaching turnover issues which may have unsettled him. He picked Geelong as he felt they were invested in him and wanted the best for him.. Danger is a very decent person from what we have seen, so expect it is genuine.

Likely question is if he is HFF role, what is his scoring power, to @wogitalia point. I think that may be overlooked. Need to go at 85 or have a big spike to do really well. should be ok and better than the last geelong mid price we have in Jordan Clark.
Those with long enough memories to remember a certain Gold Coast mid-pricer in Jesse Lonergan will still probably have the scar tissue to make them avoid Bowes.
