Only one rookie left from the nine remaining players, with six in the $500,000+ range, one of those receiving the captaincy duties and two more midpricers. Fantastic start all round with W Ashcroft the lowest scoring player on 55. Cheap forward line has worked a treat so far and Ziebell and Chandler will be knocking down the door to replace Bruhn and Flanders/Hopper in the early rounds.

After a poor run with selecting players from Port in previous seasons, it was great to see Horne-Francis deliver straight up and hopefully there is more where that came from.

Remaining nine players of R Laird (C), J Kelly, J Dawson, C Mackenzie, R Marshall, J Steele, H Clark, N Fyfe and A Brayshaw combined for 695 for an average of 69.5 per score involvement to end on 1878.

No Jones or no Stewart but no worries, I will still find a way. Only six players to score a ton with Horne-Francis top scoring and Sheezel rounding out the top three. :ROFLMAO:

Epic fail today on the advice and seriously sorry about that but I would give it again and 9 times out of 10 would.be right. If we ever do a meet up the first pint is on me!

What a wild round 1.

Watched every game of football (flicking the games played simultaneously). Need a break for a day or two to compose myself and then think about next steps. Team is looking woeful.

The wife’s team did well, scored 2080 odd and that was with Stewart, Fyfe and Xerri. All her hard work over the pre-season has paid off ;) That reminds me, I probably should say hello to her, I’m fairly certain she came home from work on Thursday night 🤷‍♂️
