North vs Eagles

General - I actually enjoyed this game, both teams gave it a crack and it was pretty fun to watch, was a nice even contest between two weaker sides but plenty of highlights still.

North - Hung on and definitely ran out of steam a bit late but they'll take 4 points every day with plenty of positive signs for them also.

Sheezel - Pure HB role and milked it for every drop. Must have, must field in that role. The DPP will make it even better if it continues and after how he played, no way it wont.

Ziebell - Also playing pure 3rd intercept role, actually went the spoil on basically every chance but the role was great. Split kickins with Sheezel and McDonald but they looked to control the ball at HB at lot and he was the general. Looks great.

LDU - Immense game, was a class above everyone else. Just dominated. No way he's not getting some tags playing like that but what a start for those with him.

McDonald - 3rd amigo down back, was rock solid.

Simpkin - Solid role, no real sign he's going to a higher level though.

Comben - Ended up as the #1 ruck, don't think this score is a fair representation unless they go that path for some reason, was on pace for a 50 type score without that. Played really well though and if he can put another good score next week he's a real solid option.

Greenwood - Ended up in the ruck for a large chunk of the game, helped a few others get more midfield, role was looking to be a solid F/M split prior to that but went heavy mid after.

Powell - Solid role, not great, played solidly, not great.

Cunnington - Role started good but ended up forward a lot after the Xerri injury, actually scored better when forward though. Role mostly as expected though, solid midfield with heavy forward split.

Phillips - Subbed on at QT, role was very good, reckon it wouldn't have been as good though if Xerri was there as Greenwood rucking opened up the rotation basically. He was solid and put his hand up for a game next week at least.

Bergman - Solid but not a lot of action, would be first out I'd think for Hall or whoever.

Goater - Was really solid, faded a bit late but was a strong game and good role. Bergman would go out ahead of him for mine.

Eagles - Good 2nd half, shocking first half cost them in the end. Was good to see the fightback and the kids were pretty good for the most part.

Shuey - Started midfield and wasn't very good, went to HB in the 2nd half and was dynamic and really shifted the game, reckon he should stay there.

Gov - Stock standard for him, main intercept role.

Ginbey - Great role, played really well. Easily their best tackler in there already. Will grow into the role but was super on debut.

Barrass - Big score with Gov is good to see, was rock solid for fantasy purposes but well beaten by Larkey.

Hurn - Same old for him, primary option off HB, intercepts, just does a bit of everything.

Sheed - Shocking 1st half, great 2nd half. Got a better role after Shuey went to HB and scored very well from it. One of his better halves.

Cole - Was the 7th defender but played very solidly. Should be a solid choice, shame he didn't go on with it in Q4.

Allen - Should have had 3, was solid but didn't take advantage of a very good matchup for him.

Long - Was huge in Q3/4 when the ball was in his area, lots of really good little touches. Will be a rollercoaster and this is probably on his higher end.

Chesser - Great role, shocking score. Just didn't get used unfortunately but he did some nice things. Would think he just builds from here, obviously a benchy though.
