Just that it'll be pretty fatiguing with the heat, Dogs and Adelaide both have solid midfield
Thanks, good point. Not so warm in Gippsland, I wonder whether one summer on the Gold Coast does much to help him get used to it.

Depends on view on Anderson. Assuming you hold him. If not holding, straight switch into Sicily, playing the BEs here.

Be looking at Cowan > Dogs cheapie? Will he play? And perhaps Teakle into McAndrew to allow an upgrade of Wilmot/Hollands into Sicily.

Don't have Teakle, or have I missed something?

Thanks mate, that's great advice I'll evaluate once Geelong confirm subs but agreed i really need to clear some dead wood before byes

Cheers!
These could be quite good trades, especially if Simpson is the sub. I like Merrett as an in, and am trading Oliver myself.

With that said, it looks like you may be able to afford your ins while clearing out some dead wood … is that possible?

More broadly, I think some coaches are at risk of doing a number of sideways trades through the byes primarily because they haven’t cleared out enough dead wood. I think this is a good round to do it.

The dead wood has all 4 byes 🙂

Good luck!

Need a cheap D6 lads. Who do you prefer?
Jordan Ridley or Bailey Dale? Lots of Marvel games to come for both.

Bench carnage. I'm livid...

The conundrum I find myself in, what I would do for a boost this week..

Option 1a
Anderson > Butters
Wilmot > Humphrey
Left with: 12 trades, $51.9k ITB

Option 1b
Anderson > Merrett
Wilmot > Atkins
Left with: 12 trades, $85.5k ITB

- Both options guaranteeing a Clarry flavoured donut with zero bench cover.

Option 2
Wilmot > Humphrey
Teakle > Weddle via Madden, Roberts, Chesser DPP scrambling
Left with: 12 trades, $59.2k ITB

Shuffle around and I'm left with the below field

Samson on extended bench could still land some TOG without Soldo in the mix, but at least I circumvent a Clarry donut. My regret here is the money loss on Anderson next week, I'm being stubborn on this. What are your thoughts?
Well I've decided to swing Anderson, Oliver > Butters, Merrett. I have $111.4k ITB and 12 trades remaining.

Next week, as much as I regret doing it, Ashcroft will be among the 3 trades I make alongside two of the dud bench rookies, say Teakle and Roberts. His $$$ will allow me to make some significant improvements.

Depending on Samson's output on Sunday, I instead might swing him and Ashcroft + Teakle/Roberts/Drury to grab a premo, a fallen MP like Fyfe and a replacement bench pick that will actually play.

Round 14 and 15 is going to be bleak for me.

Must stop playing around with trades :ROFLMAO:
Out: J Kelly and A Davey
In: Z Butters and G Wardlaw
IMG_1889.jpeg

Eventually need a forward and defends against the possibility of Walsh, Macrae and Gawn missing out. Should ensure I meet the bare minimum of 18 for next round.

Paying a premium but I did manage to get all other fwd premiums under $500,000 bar Dunkley (Gulden, Coniglio, Sheezel and Ziebell (if swung back)).

So envious of the fact that Jelly got you to Butters and you get to keep Clarry. Team looks solid

I had this in mind when I traded Cincotta yesterday, after last nights match and Carltons' injuries probably a mistake.

I'll wait a week on downgrades with no standouts. Ford and Wardlaw top options for next week.
Dawson looks to be dropping so he can wait.
Buckley 124 BE goes ahead of Setterfield.
Hollands 67 BE achievable if not subbed...

With a few injuries I'll put Oliver on the bench and trade Kelly + Setterfield.
Buckley has a high BE but need the body this week after two weeks of injuries (Hopper, Setterfield, Oliver and Kelly)
JVR needs to beat the 42 of Hollands to come on field for Oliver.
Sicily looks to be back to the best for him as third tall and Macrae sitting at 40% forward.

No idea what I'm doing. Defence looks really shaky. Pretty sure Wilmot will play, but really awkward when my bench spots and first trades out would be Cowan and Cincotta and they play Friday night.
I guess I have cover for Oliver in Humphrey, Johnson, Hollands. Looping the latter two, would seem to be a luxury actually.
No cover in forward line unless Hollands goes ok and Humphrey can swing there.

Focus is mainly H2H at this stage.

It’s tough your byes look fine. But I just don’t see any good downgrade options this week.

Perhaps and this is a little left field, Wilmot into Greenwood or Atkins depending on byes. Keep the cash generation happening. Cheers

Round 15 is my worst bye, made trickier by the fact that many players I'm targeting have that bye.
