A little torn.
Like the value proposition of Steele but still worry about the durability.
Laird works well for my bye structure.
Soliciting genuine feedback on this:

Bont > Laird
Cowan > Fleeton
O Baker > Ridley via Cincotta

How do people see trading Bont out on a value / bye balance basis?

I wouldn't trade Bont .

I was going to make similar points to @GrainFedBeef.

Day copped a tag this week, but won't every week (maybe most weeks?).

Unless you expect tags near term, I would probably hold him for now and reassess just before his bye (or at least after one bye has passed). If you trade him in that window, you can get another premium scorer on field, and squeeze a bit more value out of what could otherwise be a sideways trade.

You'll also have more info then, and he may come good by that time.

People talking about getting Steele after wondering if he would be a late out??? I thought he was overscored for his output. Got many of his touches late when it was tight, still didn't look 100% to me. His tackle count scores a fair chunk for him.

As for Day, will score between 80-105 most weeks and hold his value, so better keeping him for the time being. I'm sure you have more pressing issues in your side.

Laverde seems.very close for returning, Kelly still a little off but apparently progressing well.

I wouldn't trade Bont .

Yeah, I don't love it, but he is overpriced vs Laird.vs what I think he will score moving forward.
An alternative would be just to get to Ridley from two rookies.

Oliver>Merrett
Cowan>Ford
Callaghan>Steele

Other thoughts are only do the oliver trade this week, but I've been trying to get Callaghan upgraded for a month but something more important keeps happening.
Maybe Sinclair over Steele? Maybe Neale?

This would be my last boost and leave me with 81k.

Crazy to me that people are bringing in Neale for Oliver when he'll be sitting out next week for his bye.
I guess every player we consider will have a bye anyway, but still feels bad!

Personally I think I'll have better coverage for the later byes if all goes to plan.
