More worried he is a Bruhn replacement and subbed off, like for like and Bruhn did fade in the last half of the game.
Given Geelong have one of the older playing lists and with an additional round this season, would they look to use the sub more often to provide in game rests to their older players rather than their younger players?

I think that is a real possibility unfortunately
Yep, just moved him to the bench! Game time was a real concern last week, but the chatter was about that when Parfitt came on, he took the Bruhn mid time and now, he has been dropped, with the SUB still TBC (though Whyte has been mentioned as debuting?)

Tipping a play out of the Scott playbook = a late out of xxxx, Whyte comes in and someone else starts sub (Simpson this time).
Gotta love a Scott move 👍 I've never said a bad word about either of them, great coaches, great guys

With Blicavs on the bench, i can see him coming on to play in the backline on one of the carlton key forwards (silvagni, curnow,Mckay) and zach guthrie playing on jack martin. This means Smith will be moved up onto the wing, causing bruhn to be hopefully moved into a midfield rotation. Not sure fully, but just a speculative idea, Hope its true!

O'Connor will probably play Silvagni, Rat/De Koning on the other two and Guthrie, Bews and Tuohy can do the smalls.
