Looking across my leagues, looks like 2300 is the par range with some insane variances for everyone below it! Lot of guys in a very tight grouping above 2300 and then ranges from 1900-2300 below.

Those who avoided the carnage (the more vanilla your side the better this week) will score 2300. Everyone else it's just a case of how many of Callaghan, Coniglio, Cameron, Worpel, Ziebell, Bont, Setterfield, LDU, Marshall (for the few) Bowes and Gulden you managed to avoid!
I think you’ve seen an exceptionally small sample size to think 2300 is part of the par range. Think you’ll find it’s between 2000-2250 for 99% of the active players this round.

What a game, Crows absolutely deserved that. Great first win of the season.

21/2008 Laird (C)

I need a masterclass Ginbey performance tomorrow. I'm 444 points up from my opponent. He has Mills, J McGovern, Ginbey as well, and Oliver set as skipper. Gonna be a tight one.
2112 Laird (C)

Update on my matchup above, I lost by 16. Skipper Clarry crucified me. I should add, very happy to see Ginbey hitting the ton, cash gen next week should be superb.

Lot of thinking to do again. What the hell do I do about this ruck sitcho...

I ahem… beg to differ. No way that 2300 is anything like par this week. Looking through my relevant leagues there are only 2 scores over 2300 and lots and lots under 2100. I would say par is around 2150 with anything over 2200 being a good score.

If only i put the C on Clarry past 3 weeks. Arhhhhh such a rookie have not used him once.

Expection 40k move to 30k position this week.

Think Oliver gets 1-2 weeks for that sling tackle.

Trades next week Callaghan for ......

Starting to look fairly well composed out there.

I keep saying it , but next year I might just start all the Round 1 starting rookies plus a VC/C option just for the fun of it.
Yeah he’s not the worst looking rookie running around, awesome that we got him as a freebie father-son first round pick after trading ours out for Rankine, feels like double dipping 😂

99% being below it is what makes it the par line...

There's roughly 160k teams, top 1600 is the top 1%, so par is inside that top 1% being top 1000.

Some people do have much lower standards on par though.

Is it not commonplace to quickly browse through a few leagues featuring quality coaches and possibly double ups and then pick a random number with no methodology and extrapolate for a few tens of thousand and then throw out the word par whilst stating there is high variance below par and to 1900 but no mention of the variance on the other scale to balance out those scores?

Oliver tackle is going to be yet another test of what the actual criteria is at the tribunal.

On action it was considerably worse than Broad last week who copped a month.

On outcome it's nothing because he ragdolled Parker who, of course, bounced straight back up.

On big name player for a Victorian club he would get credits for it.

Given it's a huge name, for a Victorian club I expect he gets nothing for it because that seems to be the most important aspect of the grading system.
