My world of chaos is reflected in my inability to see the loop option with Baker and Hopper, 95 on the bench with no E, have to rely on Hollands/Phillipou to deliver something respectable to cover Hopper, going with Hollands for now.

L Jones - $228,100 - Scores: 5, 76, 68 BE 48
New price $236,900 - BE -7 (all approximate)
Nice turn around, for those who stuck!!!!
Yep, I am glad I kept him. That score of 5 drops off

Are people holding Ridley
I am. I got rid of the Doc for #35 this week. Ridley's BE is not as high as Docherty's

I like that Baker's good score means less people will jump on Setterfield with a Hopper sideways trade.
Very true. I have had Setterfield since Rd 1 as a POD and want people to stay away from him.

On Doc v Ridley, the BE's really shouldn't be a factor. It's largely irrelevant as I'm assuming the one you're keeping will be a season long keeper anyway so price changes don't mean a thing.

I would simply be turfing the player you think will average less for the season from here.

Jon Ralph can not be serious throwing out the suggestion of Hawthorn getting a priority pick with a very poor 2023 season.

Wow, just Wow.
"AFL Journalism" has to be at all time low, all these nuffies all trying to outdo each other with their outrageous takes just to get clicks on stories.

IF the Hawks finish last they get the clear number 1 pick Harley Reid who dominated as an under age player last year

Just caught up on 20 pages lol. New recruit and Gawn replacement gets the armband.

7/787 English. 4 rookies onfield including Jones, 5 rookies yet to play.

Was tossing up bringing in DC, who appears a popular value pick, glad I spent the dollars on English. DC needs to show some consistent scoring.

I am.
Zero Thatcher only missing a week apparently, and Scott has shown that if possible he'd prefer to play Ridley as a distributor. BZT getting injured last week impacted last week, and not having Reid or Stewart to come in due to injury means that this week is likely affected, but I don't mind the long term prospects, and have far more pressing needs elsewhere. (Note, I have Daicos. If I didn't have Daicos that might have been a different decision, but there's no must have amongst the others at that price range)

My kid is. But he's 7 years old and playing for the first time.

He also picked his team halfway through round 2 and has bigger issues to fix right now such as no players from the first 6 or 8 teams of last week

Ridley was always a risk, a bit like Young was for me. Your questions should be: has he or his role improved like I thought it might? After that you ask if someone could do it better, hopefully for cheaper

The magic number drops what.... 6% over the course of the year? If he plays as disappointingly as he did last year, you would lose 30k or so over the journey and points wise be running a top 20 or 30 back. (Someone else could be more accurate with that statement). That would require fixing at some stage if true.

Is he one of your 3 biggest issues right now? Can he solve any of your 3 biggest wants without causing more damage?

In my case, I moved on Young because of the 3 biggest wants question. Also because with that 50 in his price for a couple of weeks I have time to get him back in if he should stayed as he shouldn't get away from me (minimise damage). Can you see an argument through all that that makes Ridley a necessary or desirable trade? If so, then proceed knowing that if you got it wrong, your thinking was good and it's all his fault 😀

And he will go to Carlton or Geelong 3 years later

So torn
Take the Neale vc 117 or go Clarry
Thinking safety but 17k overall not sure

Also
Gulden vs d Cameron in this week

D Cameron looks great
Ticks a lot of boxes *1 ruck so easier points
Good ceiling and month of No cox

Gulden
Looks a must have
Barely got out of first gear and going 110

Think both are must haves and I’ll get the other down the line

What would you guys do for both? Opinions appreciated

8/705 Bont VC. That includes 5 rookies including Jones (Baker Emg for Hopper included). Bont VC looked good early, don't expect him to fade on DE like that every week. Good comeback from Wilmot. Happy with the English fixup after Round 1.

Agree both are must haves. Couldn't really go wrong with either first, however Darcy rucking alone this week and coming off a lower BE.

I'd also back Oliver to clear 117...downside risk is maybe 10 points, upside is 30+

Yep. But would’ve traded to Naicos if I could make a fourth trade. Can’t see him going even top 10 unfortunately. His role just changes every week. Still might trade him to Naicos next week if their price differential doesn’t get out of hand. Will either have 33k bank with Setterfield or 72k bank with Worpel.
