Big watch on Bowes today, had him in my team but opted for a POD rookie in Michallanney instead so I could have a look and see how Bowes goes with Stewart back in, Max did his job with a handy 82 spike which will roll through his ave for a few rnds.

Have enough to upgrade Chesser > Bowes which will leave D6 comprising Wilmot/Cowan/Max. Not sure about plan B if Bowes doesn't fire (would need an 80+ I would think) maybe Stocker? (not keen on his TOG TBH)

Might also have Shrek to deal with yet.

Is Will Day an option at an expected price of 400k? Has 98 & 139 in his last 2 with the 60 in the 1st rnd to drop off. Looks to have secured a fulltime mid role.
Spewing I didn't start him in this format, luckily I did in DT, well done to those that did.

Current trades for round 4 looking like:

Cameron to English
Callaghan to ….. a cardboard cut out if I have to just to get him out of my team…
Will be a popular move.

I was looking at Phillips for Callaghan who is now on the bubble but reading mixed reviews on his game yesterday. With LDU & Simpkin he had a real opportunity to step up & cement his spot in North’s midfield but didn’t really take that chance by the sounds of it.

Like last year it seems I have to fix my ruck every round.
Time to start again with a new set
Out Cameron $490k + Marshall $505k + Callaghan $260k = approx $1,245k
In Witts $620k + English $620k + T.Young $102 = approx $1,342k
This will still leave me with $75k in the kitty.

Yes agree Phillips did cross my mind..
$158k mid on the bubble next week and scored 78 yesterday…

will need to wait on team sheets next week but don’t think he gets as much mid time with those two back…

Could be an option, although keep in mind the 139 came in a very rare Hawthorn win. So really we're looking at a 60 & a 98 for 'normal' games.

One of Caminiti, Van Rooyen, Brockman, etc or mid rookie (if a fwd is on the mid bench) to free up $300,000 to invest on another line or fix any midpricers, etc to allow Chandler to be fielded.

Got 240k in the bank and Worpel just soiled the bed. LDU has given us another shot at bringing him in so uf he's picked, I'll just make the one trade
