I hadn't actually watched Will Day play until yesterday. When I brought him in I was backing his stats, his CBA numbers and everything I'd read. Felt a bit dirty but the upside is huge. After watching him yesterday, I'm very happy with the decision.

Exciting player, very explosive and strong in the contest. Think his score yesterday was probably a little unders.
Yeah wow I wouldn’t have had the balls to bring in Will Day unsighted! Was one of those risky picks I needed to watch first.

17/1920 - Bont
Taranto, Hopper, Setterfield, Daicos and Michelanney to come. Thinking of taking Wilmots 62 over Max's via Constable

Watched Picket tonning up as expected. But so did Cogs, who was his replacement and I know who I'd back for further tonnage. Still....

Otherwise, just a real nice round to date after the drawn out saga of last weekend. Premos have hit hundreds. Rookies have generally been good with Sheez returning to type and Chandler being a nice little earner down there at F6. McKenna rewarded us sticking with him another week and maybe more now with the injury to Rich as well. Even Jhf made a decent score. Fair to say I'm suspicious as with what Sunday has in store for us

So I hope I haven't jinxed everything but we should show gratitude to the SC gods when it's due. So far, round 7 has been a bunch better than round 6

Is there any chance we'll know if Laird is playing or not before the Ess V Cats game?

I'll be copping a donut if he doesn't, I usually don't trade just for 1 donut, Parish is the only player left who hasn't played that id trade in for Laird, it has the added benefit of giving me enough funds to be able to bring in 2 premos instead of just one next week; Oliver & Sinclair, instead of having to choose between the two, both have great draws & gettable be's next week, along with Cincotta.

Sorry if this is the wrong thread.
Wouldnt think so unfortunately, just keep an eye 👁️ out for any news, this thread or twitter probably the best for updates…

Whoever it was on here that wanted Pickett to score 120 got their wish, does that mean they are going to hold him now?
Twas me and that's a yes on the hold.

Suns, Hawks, Port and Dockers the next 4 - that's three bottom 6 sides. So long as he doesn't throw in another sub-20 score and pushes maybe one more spike, he could have made the $120k and be ready to slingshot to a mid-premium.

Those with Bont VC, are we taking it? I suppose we should....
Yeah I did, but I'm probably more risk adverse than most.

Other option was Oliver, lost 12 points, but on most occasions I'm happy to just lock in a 120+ score and not have the worry.

If don't have Laird or Dawson, I think there is enough doubt over Laird to rule him out.

I'd you are chasing points both Dawson and Daicos are both good options though.

Thanks mate, yeah I do have Laird/Dawson/Naicos, i'd probably be looking to avoid Laird even if he plays

Just not sure the reward outweighs the risk though, surely Daicos can't keep pumping out big scores? Surely?
