Looking at Fremantle’s team they’ve only named 6 recognised defenders. Ryan, Clark, Cox, Pearce, Young and Walker. They’ve named Walker on the interchange with Johnson sitting on the HBF. Freo fans would know better than me but who plays as the 7th defender? I believe it’s one of Johnson, Hughes, NOD, Aish. Wouldn’t mind Johnson there from a SC perspective with Freo’s kick-mark system.

Hughes & Aish have played half back previously - think they moved Hughes to a wing to replace Acres. My reading of it is Aish will be the 7th defender - very versatile/ Mr Fixit player for JLo.

I expect Johnson to play on a wing.

With NOD coming in, and no winger going out, I assumed Hughes will move to the backline. Definitely one of Hughes/Aish (slight chance Johnson)

Thanks guys. In order of most to least likely to play defence I’d rank them Hughes, Aish, Johnson, NOD. It’ll probably be Hughes or Aish, but still a possibility Johnson plays there. I have a feeling JL will want to use Aish in the guts a bit more this week after the scrutiny they’ve copped regarding their midfield and maybe even keep an eye on Neale.

You’ll need to do better than that FF to get me back. The management of ads on that site is atrocious
Don't find them that big a deal. Just one when you open a game (1 click to close) and one down the bottom. Doesn't bother me that much. They do a hell of a job - unless people want to donate they don't have much choice but to use ads.

Cowan out means I can loop Wilmot and Mitchell for D6.

Might be worth something if Wilmot hits high 60s again

Tight timing though so have to be following along.

Will Cowan even get back into the team? Saad, Newman, Docherty, Cincotta all playing as general defenders with Kemp also back there, and Cowan hasn't exactly set the world on fire just yet. Don't think he's an automatic re-selection.

Think I might get rid of him. Could be the sub which will kill his cash gen anyway. My other rookies all have manageable B/Es.

Just an FYI Cowan currently named as an emergency. Let's hope "managed" doesn't mean he's the sub.
I think Kennedy or Fogarty will be the sub, if Cowan is actually being managed he should be fully rested.

I agree with @jobeywatto too that he might not be an automatic selection, Boyd also will come back in soon. Hopefully Cincotta can hold his spot than as well

I have noticed a number of times that "managed" players are in the emergency lists. For mine it simply means we don't want to play you but if matching named player is a last minute out you are going to get the call up.
