If he's priced at his '22 average he's 270k before any 10/20% discount for only playing 2 games.
Seems like the kind of pick that they would mess with the discount like they have before for picks like Titch and Gaz.
They might price him off his '21 average, fairly certain they've done that before, no example springs to mind tho.
But they gave us Cogs this season, but he played 5 games, so there's a bit of hoping involved, he was priced at 60 and given a 20% discount.
If Cunners gets the same treatment he could be as cheap as 215k. Chuck in FWD status and the last bye. Even if he's half the player he was before he's still a decent cow.

If theyre a previous good scorer and only play 2 games they usually grab the price from the season before and deduct from that. So they’ll probably be deducting from his 2021 average of 108 unfortunately.
A recent example is Nic Newman averaged 96 in 2019 and then 23 in 2 games in 2020. In 2021 he was priced at 415k, seemingly a deduction on his 2019 price

Yeah, just depends on what average they price him off, dunno where they pull the >3 games cut off from. Can understand why they do it when we get cases like Callan Ward doing his knee and scoring 4 points for the season.
Witts was only 3 games the year before and priced accordingly.
We'll find out in a few days time anyways.

I would expect Short to go back to the defence and this could impact D. Rioli numbers.
