Initial impression is that there seem to be some decent premium rookie options on offer, inc a lot of top end draft picks from prior years (ie BKing, Cox, Phillips, Coffield, Chesser, Sinn - OAllen to some extent too. C McKenna is a gift)

Just interested in the popularity of Tim English. Last year he was cheap, had proven he could ave 100 plus, by Rd 1 had the R1 role at WB locked up and had R/F as a bonus. Like many others I was on board from Rd 1 although the ride proved a bit bumpy.

No question he can go big but is he any different to a number of ruck choices in similar price range this season? And I get a little worried about his durability. In the past two seasons he has missed 11 of a possible 44 H&A games. And most concerning is that two of those injury spells were due to concussion. The last one cost him multiple games. Another concussion could be dangerous for him so at the end of last season I had a bit of a ? on him for next year.

Rucks a bit trickier perhaps this year but his name is a regular of first up suggested teams.

English certainly has upside with his scoring ability but I think you are right in two counts. Being R/F improved his appeal last season but I'm also of the same view of concerns of his durability. He seems to miss multiple games when he does miss. He will be popular and I understand why but he is a gamble as is the whole supercoach game🤞

I will probably roll the dice with Gawn / Grundy. Still the best two rucks in the competition. And I wouldn’t be surprised , even in the same team, if they still can’t be top 2 SC rucks.

It would be unique. Cameron forward means I can swap one out if it doesn’t work …

I guess it worked with Cox and NicNat?

Potentially the last time two similarly high quality rucks were both best 22 for the same team as well.
