In respect of J Bruce would not the Bulldogs key fwds be Naughton, Lobb, JUH and Bruce in fourth spot? I would have thought they would want to develop JUH asap so he gets the gig ahead of Bruce. And in that case would Bruce be getting a game, as in, they would not play all of them together. Lobb also gives the ruck chop out to English so no need for Bruce there either. Maybe Bruce will return to being defender. Back to a pre season watch on how they set up.

Lever and May down back patroling the air. Reckon Max is more chance of FWD status RD6. For mind one on the best overhead marks in the game and will be deployed as an outlet down the line against the smaller wingmen and block the line in the FWD 50. For a big unit has a huge tank not many talls can match.

Grundy is limited, great tap ruckman and has oliver tracca and viney at his feet. Reckon he does most of the CBA and stoppages.

What are the odds on the Beard winning the coleman.?
As long as his beard, 301mm.

It sounds like Sinn is still a long way off joining full training. I wouldnt be counting on him playing early.

Kens great. He plays his favourites constantly regardless of their form, injury status or structure of the team! He's hoping port can be competitive enough this year to give him a contract extension. Woot!

Not much talk on the Hawks new recruit Meeks.? Nicely priced if he gets more time over Reeves.

Also any tiger fans out than provide intel on Narkle, coulDnt break into the mids at the Cats, Is he any chance at best 22 at tigerland.?
Basically Reeves is a lock as the hawks number 1 ruck. Meek will play more forward given Gunston, Callow are gone …

Gawn does appear destined to forward, but with van rooyen to debut and brown and tom mac tearing it up ,is there a spot there Look out for Sestan to debut early A 102 k rookie who goes by 'plugger' kicked 24 goals in a game and was bog in every game he played except one and he booted 4 in that one. The dees historically have luck in the rookie system and Plugger may be next relying on brute strenghth to kick his goals .At training he has shown he has real pace as well . NDD

Haha this reads like he probably isn’t playing round one. Got my hopes up from seeing that tweet but looks like false hope
It was a groin injury which ended his season. Hard to see anyone with a limited preseason being able to play a full time role in a running position such as the wing.

Pretty sure they are looking at Bruce down back, especially with the introduction of Lobb this season.

Bruce is going to have some real competition trying to find a spot in the dogs backline I think.

Liam Jones is now back so assume he plays full back, then there is Alex Keath & Ryan Gardner (who finished last season well) as the other tall defenders. Dale/Daniel/Richards(huge finish to last year when moved to half back)/Duryea/Williams as the smalls - so it depends on what structure Bevo wants in his backline, wouldn't surprise me to see him go with 2 talls & 4 smalls to give them extra run/speed coming out of defence, modern game is all about quick ball movement.

He's got competition at either end now, which is great for the Dogs. Not so good for him.
