Yeah that one where you end up hoping the team you want to see get smashed doesn't get smashed for fantasy reasons

Shame about the Knicks awful early schedule as I did like Sims as a pick and has started well, will be one to watch for rest of week as a potential rookie bench option.

Everything else is more or less as you'd expect in this game which isn't surprising given reigning champs against a team with about 7 healthy NBA players.

Have been so busy lately that I almost forgot this started today.... Have spent the last 2 hours reading through posts and checking websites. Just got this team in on time. Will have to keep a track of this a little better now. This is what I am going with for the time being. Still have $3M up my sleeve if I need an upgrade before a game this week.

I agonized downgrading Giannis > Tatum, but in the end I didn't want to to start 2 rookies on-field and the money had to come from somewhere. Spewing I VCed instead of C though.

Then you need the ruled-out rookie too! Maybe we should trade in someone that definitely won't get a game this week, captain them, get Tatum's points and then trade the nuff rookie back to a playing rookie next week?

Tatum just as likely to follow up with an 18 & 25 as he is giving us 140+ score from 3 games. I'm confident that SGA will come through with a great C score and at the very least match whatever Tatum ends up with.

Yeah good point. Although points in the bank is always nice... we get plenty of trades, I might go the unprecedented first-round-nuff VC loop.

Loop is redundant in this format and especially so early on when the key is to maximise cash generation.

If multiple injuries and/or suspensions befall your side along with handling fixture changes, can trades be set aside? Would a boost be used to remove the loop, how long do you plan on holding the loop and is it a priority in comparison to the aforementioned?

Scoring is not at a constant rate so 40+ is not a given in each match because the first match was so for Tatum. Do you expect a significant gap between who you originally planned to be captain and Tatum to warrant the change?

I must admit this topic is much more pleasant this year than the last few. Maybe it will change when more popular selections play, as we are only one game in, but definitely less complaining. Keep it up.

Guess you must have a fair bit of cash on hand, as I don't see how you can bring all 3 in otherwise, but not sure of exact prices. Think Jokic is C only, Doncic PG only and Sabonis C/PF from previous posts so bit hard to work out your team next week. SGA/Davis/Barnes out and one of Yabusele/Holland scoring as PF? Seems to be relying on more rookies than most other teams I have seen posted.

Just the one rookie on court but my PGs & SGs are speculative. Fading SGA makes me a bit nervous but i preferred going with strong forwards and so far im happy with Tatum and hopefully Giannis + Banchero come to the party. Next round im going to get Jokic but not sure what ill do with my guards

Will give credit to those that are able to play rookie roulette W1 and succeed. Genuinely a toss of a coin to see who plays well

After some back and forth, have settled on an evened out squad, with 2 playing rooks (similar to most)
