Should of jumped off Edey, his last preseason game was a red flag
He started and put up good stats per minute, he's a 70%+ FT shooter. Give him 25 minutes and his FT% rate and he's right there as the top rookie.

Even then there were 10 rookie priced guys who scored >10 more than him of which a solid half would be lucky to be in more than 10 teams and about 3/4 of the guys who outscored him would be the same and/or only got minutes because it was a blowout.

I know the only guys I considered that outscored were Jerome (23), Hawkins (18), Sims (16), **** (15), Yabusele (14) Agbaji (13), Black (13), Knecht (7), Curry (7), Sheppard (5) and Williams (5). Of all of those none I'd have confidently started.

I'd suggest that you expect hot trash from all rookies this season, it's a terrible crop. Probably worth noting that of all the rookies Edey, Agbaji and **** are, I believe, the only 3 who started and one of the two Toronto guys is straight to the bench once Barrett is back.

I'd still back Edey as the top scoring rookie this week if you forced me to pick one.

Definitely could have been worse...

258 / Giannis

Cunningham salvaged a solid score, Scoot not ideal but decent score and will still get plenty of minutes off bench, makes him more of a points based play than assists though which I'd prefer the prior. Mitchell poor score but good minutes/role and if Quickley is out then huge benefactor of that, silver linings and all that.

Quickley not ideal with the injury, fingers crossed just playing it safe but have to assume that's a wash. At least doesn't lose value if doesn't play. Daniels was great for his price. **** rock solid.

Edey not ideal but he's a rookie, it happens. Minutes and role are there. Walker not looking good but that's what trades are for.

Tatum excellent. Jalen Johnson not good, need a big bounce back from him. Agbaji good on the bench, hopefully gets a couple more starts and can make a bit of cash.

Giannis scrambled something at least, not a great start but definitely not bad. Banchero with a very strong start. Risacher minutes role good, everything else was not but he'll be fine.

Lamelo, Davis, Mobley, Kessler and Thomas the only guys that really fired that I strongly considered and none were in my last two drafts so can't really say I was strong on them. Miller the bullet dodged on the other side.

Jerome, who was the coinflip with Mitchell in my final side, probably the only name that's really standing out right now from a scoring perspective, be a strong watch in next game where hopefully not a blowout and can see real minutes.

Trades still more or less on plan, Quickley the only big curveball. Will take that.

Fair chunk of Jerome's points all in garbage time. He's still fair way down on the depth chart and can see games where he doesn't even get on the court at all.

Copped the Quickley business too, just unlucky.

Let it begin
I also couldn't find anyone to dump Scoot to in the last couple of minutes so just rolling with that mistake!

Anyone who doesn't have at least one of the Miller, Quickley or likely Scoot is going to be very well placed as have to think they'll miss the rest of the week if they can't even come back into their games.
Scoot Injured?
