Is that a standard practice for players who have back to back games, normally only play one game?

No, the ones who care will play them. The softer guys will sit them out constantly though, some teams like the Spurs and Warriors do it constantly also.

Zion actually wants to play them but the team has banned him from doing it so wont play.

Gosh it is hard to split this trio for the round ...

LBJ
- 6 homes in a row of which the first is Doncic against his old team
- one B2B set and we know he is dealing with an ankle niggle ...
- two games are against LAC (cross town rivals)
- a very good floor and high ceiling
- sitting quite comfortable but still need to keep the momentum going seeding wise ..

KD
- starts with an away game but then 4 homes ...
- coming off a recent ankle niggle but looks in fine form ...
- lower floor and occasionally goes big but has Booker and Beal as company ...
- they need to get on a decent roll now with all there big guns back ..

Tatum
- starts with an away B2B set ..
- but then has 7 home games of which he doesn't like missing any of them ..
- reportedly been carrying a shoulder niggle ..
- but it is BOS and they have a lot of options to rotate through ...
