And off we go for NBL25, really enjoy this format!

Hoping for at least a top 500 finish this year, I never recovered from the Tyler Cook Rd2 captaincy disaster last year

3/54

Ili fantastic, so glad I started him, Loe looks the goods with the Lee minutes share, keep starting him I say. Unfortunate for White starters, but we all know how good he is. Still not sure on my captain pick this week, TBD

Captain on White will hurt me. Bench next week as he seems to need Lee and Loe off to score.
No more illogical pods so Toohey in for Groves.

It's alright, plenty of time to recover. Could be so much worse than a 19, trust me I know lol.

Not necessarily because of Lee and/or Loe, one of the two have to be on field at all times anyway. Delly had a great game, and offense flowed mostly through him last night as the game played out.

White's turnovers and fouls weren't helping. Couldn't catch any offensive rhythm. He was a machine against Hawks in United's last Blitz game, you can see how hard he attacked the rim based on his 9 free throws, much less last night with only 2.

30+ for White next game will not surprise me!

Ili 31, White 19. Great start from Ili, White a bit quiet but is owned by the vast majority anyway. Cotton C, Henshall 0.5, and either Glover or Pepper 0.5 tonight.
5/154 Cotton
Cotton C 42x2, Henshall 14 (27), Pepper 6 (11). Days and Oliver on field along with Olbrich, Hickey, and Zikarsky on the bench.

Annoyingly, my trade plan was Cotton & rookie (was expecting Pepper) to Walton Jr and Loe. I’d be 1 point better off if I started with that and I’d also have more flexibility with this week’s trades.

Oliver, Walton Jr and White as premiums for the RD2 doubles. Hickey and Olbrich as the value options for the double and for going forward. Ideally Henshall at the forward position as I feel the dual position status of a Forward/Guard will be handy but have to settle for guard. Harrell and Bradshaw with an eye to RD3 if I keep both or one goes for Days/Hurt next round and then comes straight back in the next round. Prefer someone with dual position over Zikarsky and fall $400 short of Glover. NZ first up seems like an ok draw and I can fix him in RD3 with the boost if necessary. Loe for some exposure into the United talls since Lee cannot be afforded under the structure. Could set up a structure which waits until RD2 for a tall or allows me to bypass them instead favouring the likes of Harrell/Magnay/etc for RD3 and this would involve Ili instead of Walton Jr and the funds used for Loe to Days.
Great start so far for 4/85. Loe and Henshall excellent on the bench and did not expect such a good score from Henshall helping to compensate for no Cotton. Walton Jr just shy of a double-double and very close to matching Cotton.

Was concerned about Wieskamp‘s reliance on shooting and three steals may not be sustainable so happy not to have started. Hurt was another of the SEM recruits under consideration so if Harrell disappoints, then he could be a one round rental before switching back.

Usually default to my most expensive player as captain but opted for Oliver against Adelaide instead. Oliver, Harrell and Bradshaw will go a long way to deciding how my round goes.

Darius Days Vs Cairns
Harrison Vs NZ
Oliver Vs Ade

Which one would you bench out of those 3 and who would you captain? This round only. They all have their pros and cons
